but i didn't, so fair enough. good answer
Suddenly understood so many jokes in Family Guy.
My only issue is that all swearing was dubbed out. We're going to be in deep slime! What the feces? This might have made it funnier.
It's mostly pretty bad (apart from the scene where they talk about laundering money), but what annoys me most about it is how close it comes to being a genuinely subversive comedy but then completely bottles it. And the ending is fucking shit too.
I loved the start and thought it was going to be a clever reworking of Bartleby the Scrivener (look it up), so was surprised when it suddenly turned into an unconvincing crime caper. Didn't really work after that, though I still enjoyed it.
this whole thread hasn't really worked. can we talk about how good lost in space is instead?
it's like *working for the man is so shit, but manual labour is ace!*

Big whoop wannafightaboutit?
I just said 'hmmmmm'
or whatever it's called.
where Jennifer Aniston works in a supermarket and gets off with Jake Gyllenhaal was pretty good.
a 13-episode job Lisa Kudrow did just after Friends finished. very much over-looked but i thought it was ace.
well maybe not compared to some of the other choices listed but seriously more people need to watch this it's ace.
Which surprised me.
It was pretty good. Great ensemble cast - Joan Cusack, Catherine Keener, Frances McDormand, Simon McBurney, Ty Burrell - and JA plays a passive, stoned, lost soul which perfectly suits her range as an actor.
