There was some outrage regarding the amount of betting shops on the high street
And the virtual horse racing things they have in them not long ago.
I remember having Radio 5 Live on in the car and there was a woman who sounded so extraordinarily angry about the subject. She sounded close to tears with all the pent up anger in her system. Great listening.
That's the thing, you frequently get newspaper 'investigations' into betting shops, the recession, payday loans etc
but no-one's touched smart phoning betting yet, despite it seemingly being the main marketing push of every bookie.
throw a bit of ad money the tabloids way
and it keeps them quiet i think.
