Latest Avid stuff looks pretty amazing if kind of hardcore, I'm not at all familiar with it do would take awhile to learn I guess. Tried Premiere CS6 and it seems to WORK
It randomly changes export settings for seemly no reason. Hate it.
Premier is better in every way EXCEPT it takes an age to encode to ProRes, so I need final cut for that. Hate it. All my issues at work are caused by it.
was going to go with fcp cos it seems to be the most widely used, and ehwhat's pretty good at it and could give me a hand//it seems pretty well supported by online communities for tutorials etc.
is there something else that"s better? just want something effective and stable for editing/synching etc
x is still the worst thing ever
I've never even used it, I know that it's even worse than FCP but I can't imagine how that could even be possible
i think I'd just catch fire if i tried X
it's like if final cut pro was a sperm donor for imovie
i had to use it's first incarnation on an in-house piece. nothing would save properly and it took me about three days to get audio to sync.
i've heard that they've updated it since to be more like 7.
ha ha ha
The document "cat_race's film.fcp" could not be opened.
:D
Had this exact fucking thing with pro tools earlier
I hate technology
Sony Video Vegas is fucking excellent.
Never tried that
