A film, also called a movie or motion picture, is a series of still images on a strip of plastic which, when run through a projector and shown on a screen, creates the illusion of moving images. A film is created by photographing actual scenes with a motion picture camera; by photographing drawings or miniature models using traditional animation techniques; by means of CGI and computer animation; or by a combination of some or all of these techniques and other visual effects. The process of filmmaking is both an art and an industry.
sorry i was late replyin
just watching my favourite film Coronation Street
Is QI
the greatest motion picture ever made?
Sorry mate, it's not a film.
thingy reviews it in that film book
thomson
he's not a fan though
Toy Story 3
obvs
get a grip
on yr dick whilst cleaning it?
i guess in midnight cowboy when polio-boy dies
are you sure you have the right film?
or are you talking about ratso rizzo?
yes?
why would that be wrong
You've got a long way to go if that's the most emotional scene in the Sopranos for you!
Green Mile & Man on Fire have made me cry before.
Can't be bothered to do the exact time link thing, but from 4:50 onwards.

It is not a film, but yes, I did have a few tears
It was the chance of it all as well as the father saving his son etc
The end of six feet under knocked me for six
I cry during every film standard, I'm a big melt.
Worst crying film I watched recently though was Lars and the Real Girl
still don't fancy Ryan Gosling though. Ha! In your face!
I pretend to cry
to hide that i'm dead inside
Nothing genuinely moving has induced tears from me
but if some dispensable afterthought of a character sacrifices themselves while the score soars in Battle: Los Angeles or some other shite, I'm a wreck.
Particular films that do that to me (and I doubt if i can stop it)
Grave of the fireflies
and
Oh what a lovely war
(the bit at the end....when the soldier lies down in the grass with his mates and then the the family are picnicking on that hill and the little girl asks 'what did daddy do in the war' and the camera pans back to show the enormity of the cemetary giving the answer of "He Died"
Transformers
Not cried. Not yet, although
I think I'm more susceptible to have a quiet 'something-in-my-eye' moment as I get older. I'll keep you updated
Hard Candy did bring a tear to my eye
Not sure if that counts
Grow a pair
the opening scene of up
would probably set most of you off. not me like, I'm nails.
Jesus, the start of Up fucked me completely.
I was a mess.
The end of Kes
That's about it though.
Have you just had tear ducts installed or something?
Have you just hatched from a chrysalis?
Cried for the first time at a film?
Are you 6?
You're lying right?
Dead Poets Society when I was about 11
and Brokeback Mountain a few years ago.
brought tears to your eyes eh?
Yes
When Todd runs out into the snow crying about Neil's suicide.
now i feel like a monster
oh, lots
Dancer in the Dark, for example. but then I realised in retrospect that the ending was completely absurd, and that Lars von Trier was probably just some archly manipulative prick gouging for my tears and stubbed-out nerve endings.
The bit in Short Circuit 2 when Johnny 5 goes to save Ben even though he's had the shit kicked out of him
I didn't actually cry because I'm emotionally crippled butit gets me pretty fucking close.
but where do all the calculators go?
Never cried at a film because I'm nails
but I came close with the ending of Dead Poet Society.
FUCK YOU
christ, loads of them
nothing's made me lose it as much as And When Did You Last See Your Father, though
WHEN DID THEY LAST SEE THEIR FATHER?
Come on, tell us.
yr such a pussy balonx
Ok, I'm going to bite.
What's happening with you and this brusma/Balonz thing?
Where The Wild Things Are
I cry at almost every film, most TV shows and some adverts.
The last film I cried at in the cinema was Les Miserables. I cried so much that the person next to me, who I didn't know, told me to calm down.
I also cried very much at The Hobbit. It was emotional.
I wept during The Hobbit
But for entirely different reasons.
Great, great films reduce me to tears
Doesn't matter if they're sad or not, a good film has the ability to make me cry.
amour
Mary and Max.
I was curled up in a ball for a lot of it.
I don't think I'd want to know at anyone who didn't cry at the end of The Plague Dogs.
said it before
but Make Way For Tomorrow. the scene at the end when you know neither will see each other again :( :( :(
GO HOME, SAM
YOU BOW TO NO ONE
fuck spoiler alert! im on season 6 ya eejit!
I only ever cry at really happy stuff in films.
Case in point: Never cry at the beginning of Up, but always cry at that bit on the cliff where he finds the extra message from his dead wife.
I well up at those speeches that emphasise teamwork and courage etc
Hence Any Given Sunday, absolutely ruined me
Overall, the speech was top notch-etc.
