Powder tends to leave a residue and I once tried those little plastic pouch things on a special offer and that plastic pouch didn't always dissolve away, meaning you had what looked like the residue of an Alien egg in one part of your washing.
I like biological liquid. Some people find it gives them a rash but if you're cool with it it'll get rid of more stains.
Whatever is on offer (same for the softener).
Purple for colours; green for whites.
never the own brand stuff, like, but the next one up. the same goes for most toiletries and cleaning products, tbh. the budget stuff's garbage, but there's rarely any justification in getting the top-end ones, there's no obvious increase in quality, you're just paying for the name, really.
Are the things that you just buy whatever is on offer.
Any other items that fit this category?
Because it's not unheard of for the generic products to literally be rebranded stuff from the named manufacturers.
The truly budget stuff is absolute muck. Pretty sure i can tell the difference. Thanks for your input, though.
This is a bit "Croatian mates" but it's something that's come up through work a few times, as I've got a few household goods clients.
I have skin problems so should probably be a bit more discriminating, but I've never noticed anything having a really bad effect, so fuck it.
Both in the tray.
A big fuck off box of powder is the best value. Forced to use fabric softener because of shit water, so buy the supermarket own one.
It's supposed to stop static cling and it provides a boost of fragrance to your clothes.
Of course, it's supposed to make towels shit too. I gave up on it.
since I started using it, so chew on that Mr. Scientist. Yeah, I don't use it on towels.
Sounds like something odd is happening. I've never had crunchy clothes down here.
I don't remember noticing any difference in Manchester, except I guess there was more washing liquid in them because you end up like Lady Macbeth when you try to wash soap off your hands up there.
usually get a big box on offer that lasts me until the next offer is on.
No idea about the difference between bio and non-bio (tend to go for bio, i think).
Have found that the stuff from Lidl is fairly decent. Have had some dodgy cheapo stuff.
Tried to stick to Ecover and buy in bulk when it was on offer, but it's just so frikkin expensive.
can't use it
As it was made on the continent and it's carbon footprint was higher than other brands because of the transport costs.
That might not be the case now though.
as i'm pretty sure our washing machine doesn't make/use hot water any more (how can you tell?) so the powder doesn't dissolve properly and fucks up my clothes
i use the orange bold liquid because it smells good.
for the sprog's clothes. For me it is Lidl's own brand stuff. Wins awards as it works and is cheap.
and whitener powder for whites.
So we have to use some namby-pamby floral Surf stuff that doesn't make him sneezy.
I like Persil non-biological tablets.
yellow lenor (lots of it) in the tray.
i require your advice on moustache technique.
