just went to Maplin. It always used to have awesome geeks in who would know what you were talking about without asking anything. The opposite of Curry's or PC World or whatever (okay PC world is a BIT better but still).
But the one I went to had three people who weren't geeks at all. They were thick as all hell. I had to argue with them that a product existed and they wouldn't believe me until I showed it to them online, and THEN told me that I should be careful ordering them from a webstore because they might still not be real and it could be a scam, sir.
FFS. Maplin. The last haven of customer service and it's fucked.
