Just found out the UK Sim City release is the 8th and not the 5th of March, I was all excited to preload and play the hell out of that game at the stroke of midnight tomorrow, but alas because of stupid UK/Eu retailers who insist new releases are on Friday us futuristic digital folk have to wait until Friday, what cunts.

I snapped my pencil lead this morning

Then over-sharpened it so it snapped again. I'm using a pen now while I try to calm down.

have to go food shopping tonight despite the fact my cupboards are full of food/ingredients

Unless anyone can suggest a meal made from kidney beans, chick peas, tinned mackerel fillets, miso soup sachets, tomato ketchup, cous cous, capers and frozen peas.

  and peas if you're feeling extravegant, with some tinned mackerel fillets on top. If you have cumin, oregano and salt then whack that in the cous cous along with maybe a squirt of ketchup. Job done.

- They refurbished the Shell garage near me not too long ago
  
  They put in new pumps that are silent (which is a bit of a problem if you're trying to get it to £20, rather than just filling the tank, as you don't know when fuel is coming out or not) and are like super fast, so when you squeeze the trigger any more than about half way it just cuts out. Stupid things.

lights that are controlled by more than one switch make me so so uneasy and angry

The drinks ratio of a certain European contingent in the pub at 3pm on Saturday,

Must have been 1 drink per 10 people. Also this same European contingent getting arsey when I went really angry at them for moving the tall chairs in front of the screen I was obviously watching.

I have a bit of a temper so them telling me to 'chill out' wasnt the cleverest move they could have made.

tea related again

when making the tea earlier, I added far too much milk, having already taken the tea bag out. now, I've got some pretty specific tastes for tea, and I wasn't going to settle for some piss weak shit. So, I added another tea bag, wondered off and when I remembered about it, it was massively over brewed. but I'll be fucked if I waste more milk on this cup. so now I'm drinking slightly too strong tea.

two tea bags and a load of milk wasted for a shit cup of tea. ffs.

The fact that it's cheaper

To buy a bus ticket that allows me to travel on the bus throughout the South West for an entire day than it is to buy a simple return ticket 8 miles up the road.

realised today my slight pay increase pushes me into a higher pension contribution bracket, which is also being raised across the board, leaving me worse off not just in a because of inflation real terms kind of way but actual nominal value worse off

  - probably not but maybe I should ask. I don't think it would be any better as it isn't just the raise, it is the raising of all the contributions, I just got hit twice as I moved up a bracket the same time they all went up, without the raise I would be fractionally more worse off, but either way raise or no raise I will be worse off than now.
