Football.
Best sport.
Darts
Like sitting in a pub, good atmosphere and it genuinely gets exciting a lot.
FUCK YOU DARTS IS A SPORT
Or golf. So bloody relaxing.
the premier league has been great to watch this year.
football
skill, drama, passion, speed, power, no two games ever alike
its just the best
womens tennis.
tidy sluts bouncin about n gruntin.
American Football
it's violent chess basically.
Fucking difficult to understand though, been watching it religiously for years and still don't notice everything that happens on a play.
violent chess

find it pretty funny when people
...try to make meathead sports sound tactically interesting.
oh the ironing
you would
you are a moron
^ still miffed at his ranking in the DiS Shittest Poster of 2012!
just googled it
didn't feature.
I wouldn't worry about my opinion though, I doubt your as stupid and generic as your on-line persona irl.
love it when people spoil a catty retort with a basic spelling mistake!!!
I can't see the mistake you're referring to
maybe I am the moron...
Also I'm not being catty, pretty sure everyone knows your whole thing here is pretending not to like anything approaching remotely cultural or different, like a 70's dad or something, when actually irl you do.
it's probably the most tactical sport out there
but whatever
you're in trolly mood
it's cool, we get it
Football cos it's effin' mint like
Darts is good if you've got a beer and you wanna chant at the TV a bit
The rest is shit bar The Ashes.
Probably cycling
nothing better than watching a big stage of a race or a classic from the start.
Rugby Union a very close second.
In no particular order
Rugby Union - it's so ridiculously fast and enjoyable to watch.
NFL - Violent Chess is a pretty good description. Though I think I prefer talking about it above anything else. So much intrigue and strategy. And some big fucking hits.
Ice Hockey - Pretty much just the closest thing we're ever going to get to Rollerball. God it's so brilliant.
Cycling - It's like a test match, you don't watch it, you monitor it. Love the endurance aspect. Really admire that. and the strategy too.
literally couldn't imagine a more boring list of sports.
proper dinner party stuff.
you're just jealous 'cause no-one invites you to dinner parties
basketball, of course
basketball has some of the most impressive athletes in the world. they don't just have to be physically perfect (or close to it) but they also have to have good tactical awareness and an instinctive ability to execute at crunch time. there's so many different ways to make a play, but maybe just one will work, and to see a player or a team zone in on that and make it happen is thrilling to watch.
don't even get me started on the playoffs, it's all the same things listed above but amplified.
ultimately, it's a passionate sport with lots of charisma. unless you're the bobcats.
^
I'd say Basketball if I had to choose one. Don't really watch much of any sport nowadays but I would watch bball more if I could. It just aint on telly enough for me to care much about getting back into it.
tedious vulgarball
Football
cos I like football more than any other sport
Cricket is also pretty good to watch whilst drinking.
ball ball ball, footy footy footy
it's the world's favourite sport for a reason
I'd say (motor)bike racing
But it's not enjoyable so much as just very... intense. When watching a race the first time round anyhow. Watching live is just pure adrenaline and nerves. As in, no matter how big a lead your guy (or girl) has, they can easily go down at any moment. Add in the constantly-in-the-back-of-your-mind fear of serious injury or worse.... I end up watching live with the commentary on mute mostly.
So yeah. Favourite and pretty exciting, whilst simultaneously being absolutely terrifying. Worth going through it for the moment when they take the chequered flag and you can breathe for the first time in forty minutes, anyhow.
First MotoGP race of the year 7th April! Apart from only watch Moto2 & Moto3, partly because they're much more entertaining, and partly because I don't want everyone in the world watching when Marc has his inevitable huge highside.
and seeing as nobody's going to care
might as well give you some crash reels. worth watching for the occasional spectacular highside / bike surfing / justwtfeven / gravel trap tantrum moments.

(seriously, just go to 3:25 on that last one. screamed so much when that happened.)
and an almost-crash reel for good measure

(and 1:21 on the almost-crash reel)
(*1:17, sorry)
