10p is pretty cheap, every public toilet (that charges for entry) I've been to has been minimum 30p
I think it's ridiculous some public toilets charge and others don't.
Surely if some don't then then there is funding for hiring people to clean and maintain these toilets (i.e. supplied from some form of tax payments) and if that's the case then why not supply the same funding for other toilets instead of charging people to pee? And the toilets that charge are generally in places where lot of people will be and most likely have to pee (train/bus stations etc). They're just being opportunistic, bloody bus/train stations with their over-prices drinks and magazines and charging you to take a piss. This is an outrage.

I think all train station toilets that I've paid to use have been in an acceptable condition.
Someone's probably done a survey of all public toilets. I'm not going to google it though...
every public toilet I've used that was free or otherwise
has been fine really. Loads of people I know have a huge stigma about public toilets and refuse to use them, which I think is weird. If you gotta pee, you gotta pee.
also, unless the toilet looked like the one in Trainspotting then I'd never complain

Toilets in German train stations are invariably a rip-off...
...however, they do have a variable charge depending on what facilities you require. Typically it's something like:
Women's - 1.20€
Men's cubicles - 1.20€
Men's urinals - 0.60€
