i bought a copy of Vigilant8 from him for £2.
Now he has arthritis.
I only had one copied game though - No Fear Downhill Mountain Bike Racing. It was alright
and remember those cheat code thingys?
I remember going round to his house to get him to chip a different friend of mines playstation and him showing off one of those cheat code things. He was trying to get cheats for Gran Tourismo to work but he couldn't spell it. We laughed at him until he threatened to run over us with his car. He's in prison now for entirely unrelated crimes.
I'm going to prison aren't I?
the full games people made and got put on for free
one a pirate.
for some reason, the commentator would always get stuck on the name "Suka" and the only way you could get it to stop was by turning it off. otherwise you'd just have game after game of "SUKAHHHH SUKAHHHH SUKAHHHH SUKAHHHH SUKAHHHH"
The only way it would work was to turn it upside down. Not sure how I discovered that. Had Metal Gear Solid but for some reason there was no colour - completed the whole thing in black and white, which was a nightmare. One section involved looking out for footprints (which I couldn't see) of an invisible dude. Also, Meryl's codex frequency was hidden in the manual which obviously I didn't have. This was pre-internet so spent hours of calling each frequency until I found Meryl.
Still... good game.
Had a disc with hundreds of megadrive games on it
it was basically unplayable as the pad meant you couldn't jump whilst moving forward which I guess is why they never released it.
it was (un)surprisingly difficult to find one! and i still never got round to actually chipping the £3 car boot sale PS1.
THE PLAN was to play LSD on a real machine - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSD_(video_game)
