The ones that have never strayed from it ever: all weird.
don't like when people make fun of bad spelling and grammar and even more don't like it when they refuse to accept that they're ableist.
said yer dad, last night, as i slowly removed the love eggs
would've looked pretty soft serve in comparison to that
(you're disgusted by the use of 'i slowly removed', cos it's a split infinitive, right?)
i guess i must've learnt to not split infinitives.
but actively HATING them seems like a pointless thing to do
I can't muster up anything beyond indifference
what really grinds my gears is folk posting a correction to a post that they have just made a typo in. It's the internet - no-one gives a stuff that you can't type.
I give a stuff, otherwise I wouldn't post a correction, clearly.
But that then indicates that the fact that the poster has said something is more important than the debate itself. If the correction changes the meaning of what was originally typed, then fine. But if it doesn't add anything then it hints at arrogance. No-one else cares about a slip of the keypad.
As I say, that's just one of my bugbears. Other views are available.
so swings and roundabouts
What with auto correct fucking things up on phones, and furious alt tabbing whilst at work.
I only post when at work.
OH, LOOK HOW BLUNT YOU ARE
if I knew how
and to relax I switch it off! I'm good at grammar and spelling so I've ended up having a job which involves correcting other people's writing.
I wouldn't do it on here when someone else makes a mistake though, what's the point?
makes me feel better about myself.
