One down two to go.
starting my radio show again on the 9th
just gonna continue working real hard at university and fitting in extra hours at work and generally being the champion that i am.
there are lots of old ones here http://mmitb.tumblr.com
once I finish fixing it up, the next one has songs_about_ducking on it as a co-host.
I hope so. What a song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNwBJwUn0rA
Moved into the new flat. Thats great.
And that was all my plans for 2013 really.
Good on you doing it early too.
I actually don't know. I'm not here all day and I don't go in every thread. Don't get how some people seemingly have an encycopeadic knowledge of everything ever discussed on the boards.
But I cheated by setting easily achievable goals.
2. Continue showering daily
I don't set myself specific goals, rather things I could improve upon in the space of a year, like 'speak more slowly and clearly' and 'try to be healthier' and 'be emotionally proactive'.
They haven't changed much yet but I certainly feel more positive generally, so that's good.
* getting a song put out on a compilation in Japan in April, so thats getting something put out properly
* done about 3,000 good words on the book i'm writing
- my work is more important than it was
- wedding plans are actually taking place
+ takings are up for January, meaning i won't have to get rid of my PA (Jean, as in the feminine, not a Frenchman).
- Still haven't wittled my four girlfriends down to two.
+ Successfully sticking to my resolution to give £100 to charity every day for a year.
- Getting quite a bit of stick off the tennants in the buy-to-let flats i invested in in London just before Christmas. When will these goons learn that stuff like faulty washing machines and damp is their problem not mine?
All in all, an 8/10 month.
Would hardly call it a problem.
Some of your best work yet.
+ moving to a fab flat next door to our favourite pub
- the flat doesn't allow pets
- job hunt going terribly
- still hopelessly broke
+ I think my relationship is going alright, although whenever I think that something usually goes tits up.
+ new flat means I can start cycling to work again. So psyched.
+ relationship eerily good, no sign of failure.
+ close to our band's first single being ready.
- i don't think i've ever worked harder in my life and i'm barely sleeping from it all.
Being a dad is AMAZING. We have the best kid ever, sleeps like a champion, is cute and has cried about twice in the first 2 months - legend. My mrs is an amazing mum too, so really feel happy that's worked out well.
Artwork stuff - trying to take more SHERIOUSLY. Managed to get commssions to do bands that I like a lot, like Metz, Mudhoney, Bouncing Souls, The Bronx, Swans so far this year, so if that keeps up will be bloody chuffed.
Could do with a promotion / payrise in the 'real' career, but just happy to have a job I guess.
This is great.
I am seeing someone lovely that I haven't decided to suddenly stop liking for absolutely no reason, so that's two.
Got four BIG plans to start on next but they won't be finished until 2014 I think, at least.
Jenny works there doesn't she
two and three are art projects I can't talk about yet.
Four is doing the show in other cities.
(Two and three are the ones I want to talk about really though)
(sshh, don't tell anyone else)
Lots is happening, and I'm getting out of my hateful work situ, one way or the toher. bit scared as to what will transpire, but it will be reet.
Haven't done any work in over a week :-\
Continuing to put on loads of weight :-\
I did just receive my Girls' Generation diary in the post though. And I want to use it for more than writing down deadlines. So I'm thinking of doing -something- every day so I actually have something different to write about in each entry. I think this should probably work the other way round, but whatever.
Yoona is on my birthday month <3
And there's a Seoul subway map in the back which I can look at and get all nostalgic <3
could be better
fitness has gone off the rails a bit
but otherwise this year is a lot better than the start of last
The rest of February will involve trying to find money to do things as well as not going out at all.
So far only one of my reaaal friends is moving next week but it's an obvious January thing to get going.
Good luck...I will be down about 300 euro as long as I get my deposit back so that's ok.
Had some debt problems recently that came to a head a couple of weeks back. Managed to sort myself out though with some family help and a debt consolidation plan. Learnt some hard but valuable lessons.
Moving out of my current house to move into a new place which I'm really excited about.
Don't think I'll be able to do my MA this year but if I can get the job I've got a second interview sorted for that will resolve any residual financial problems and sort me out going forward. Really want the job because I know from the industry they're a great company to work for.
And I'm 25 today...(party times later).
In that I haven't had one sober yet...not doing too badly. Cutting down.
+ Passed Driving Test
+ Had some sex
+ Lost half a stone
- Still no job ergo no life to speak of
First full-time paid job in my chosen 'career'
Bit nervous about it, but I suppose this means 2013 has got off to a good start.
