YOU'VE NOTHING TO FEAR IF YOU'VE DONE NOTHING WRONG.
...and therefore worthy of still being classed as crimes, with the police well within the rights to ask for samples on that basis and not merely down to sexuality as the thread and article titles suggests?
the public/private distinction in this case is also quite problematic (police used to target clubs known to be where gay men went for sex but which were for all intents and purposes 'private').
I also think it kinda flies in the face 'rehabilitation' to collect the DNA of anyone because they have a spent criminal conviction but yeah.
meaning surely legislators recognised that the law was wrong? I don't know enough about the particulars to weigh in properly but that's what I've gleaned.
even if the law was obviously homophobic and has since been acknowledged as such? The fact that something is law doesn't make it right and to assume that breaking the law is always wrong is to effectively say that people should accept their lot no matter what. Was it morally right to deny women and ethnic minorities the vote just 'cause it was the law?
PS might have misunderstood your point, apologies if so.
obvious troll is obvious
I don't really understand the point of trolling so I basically try to pretend it isn't a thing and assume everyone's usually sincere.
this thread broke pretty quickly.
