i have one
Who even owns a pen in 2013 let alone gets attached to one?
I have absolutely no opinion on it aside from confusion at how it managed to get into my flat from my parents when I moved.
i have to point out that it doesn't qualify under great pen
It was the only pen related thing I could think to post and I didn't want to see this thread fail.
is my silver parker fountain pen that i got in school and still use for special occasions to this day. It gets ink on my fingers, but i still love it.
Have you ever managed to keep a ball point pen, for it's entire working life?
ie - until all of the iink has depleted.
I'll answer this for you if you like: NO.
i have done it with a lighter though
but I always forget. Maybe I'll get one tomorrow.
there's NO WAY it qualifies
you're being specific
might self harm
I don't get why people own pens worth thousands. I chew my pens. That would be such a waste.
cheap as shit pens that by some weird statistical fluctuation are absolutely fucking beautiful to write with
i still don't think you get it though. like i have one and it's BETTER than the other ones. just by accident. it's not that it's this sort of pen that is what makes it good. something slightly different happened in the manufacturing process that means this one is better than the other, supposedly identical pens
not a single great one amongst them though
and the pens had like "take me" written on them (do they still?) i took a box. they were shitty
God help anyone who dares to steal it off my desk.
like if someone walked up to you with a brand new one of the same make, would you swap?
I might swap it for an old version of the Berol finewriter that I can't seem to find any more though.
Just now it's even better than when I first got it.
works underwater, on grease, in space etc. Nice retro bullet-like appearance, it writes beautifully and I always carry it with me. A good 3-4 years now.
length of service, coolness, price, ubiquity? All four? This is my favourite pen ever, even better than a red parker pen I had in high school.
great pens are always the cheapest shittiest ballpoints that just happened to be made brilliant by some fucking superted and spotty man bullshit magic
It cost me a lot of money. As an indicator: the man who sold it to me was wearing a tuxedo.
