why do you do it?
I don't see her enough and I want to keep up the good impression so she makes me her excellent eton mess when I go round his.
after i left her in a right old eton mess
> shabs and bants with mates
> reasons behind train delays, accidents, incidents etc come up first on twitter generally - i.e south west trains twitter account is more informative and up-to-date than any of the staff you meet
> behind the scenes access to UFC fighters, lots of great stuff coming out from some of them on twitter
Do you mean either Twittering or tweeting?
I find it calming and cathartic to externalise some of my thoughts, otherwise they just remain in my head and sometimes spiral into anxiety.
I only have one follower and I follow only one person (Zomby, who alone is worth getting an account for); however what I Tweet only really makes sense to me. My follower friend now thinks I'm mental but it's fun to occasionally look back at my tweets and remember interesting thoughts I had. I suppose it's similar to keeping a notebook or diary in a way.
I like to just ramble a bit, it's oddly therapeutic. I have 60 followers but they're pretty much all bands/filmmakers etc who just wanted me to follow them. And now they have to listen to my bullshit. And I never followed any of them anyways.
I only have about 20 followers so I'm not bothering too many people with my moaning. I also use it to arrange meeting people.
and follow people that interest me, like Warren Ellis and Horse_Ebooks
66 had to google u up mate 99
and linked to my research profile page on the university website
Getting thoughts out of my head so I don't go crazy
Football news and gossip plus a chance to chat with other supporters of my team
Moaning about work
I abuse it to make people believe I'm evil
that I make note of/think and are unable to work into daily chat
i like to think of it as my own personal public jokes book
also it's quite useful for keeping ahead of gigs/art exhibits
twit me up.
Still not sure i see a purpose for it, perhaps persistence is key.
