I dislike it a normal amount.
keep thinking about leaving and then remember that the actual work isn't that bad and that I wouldn't be much better off elsewhere.
That said if anyone wants to offer jobs, I'm always open to offers...
Do you also use the euphemism of 'big job'??? I thought it was only a term used by my family.
but I can't see it surviving in its current form or 'informal working style' due to the withdrawal of funding in England. To be fair, the waste was outrageous, but its the best place I've worked by a million miles.
I think I dislike getting up in the morning. I'd be alright with it if i started at 11.
just am wildly ambivalent towards it, which i hate
We make loads of wrong choices and no one listens to my objections despite me being an expert in the field. We get micromanaged from the very top - shit like the CEO rewriting copy for ads and stuff. We have loads of experts but they're all paralysed by the inertia that no one is empowered to make any decisions. It's bad enough in my job but I honestly don't know how the writers, designers and filmmakers put up with it.
I've got an interview soon for a new job at a place that sounds like it has an ace culture where I'd do awesome, but it's a bit of a quandry as I'd be going from a charity to a company who are pretty morally reprehensible. I'd quite relish being a bit evil though
and you have PR experience, then feel free to drop me a line for an exec role in a damn fine company
i just find it frustrating that i'm here to help make decisions based on numbers and then 80% of the time anything i advise is ignored for some political reason between the directors. i'm beyond it though. i can shrug it off because i know i won't be here much longer
in someways I kind of feel like I'm incredibly lucky to make money from something which I essentially got into as a hobby.
