I think the thing that annoys me about these threads are I could fart them out ALL DAY

The past participle of the verb to build is built.
A building is an example of something that has been built.
Just because one form of the verb, "building" as in "I am building", is the same as the noun doesn't matter in this context.
like, new build. don't really want to live in a new build.
