and pushing my dad out of bed
And from thence humour would arise
but good look with the dad pushing.
I think this exact scenario is actually described on the first page
The idea at first was to run in there with a big amp and my guitar and start playing Iron Man at about 100 decibels at 4 in the morning but then I changed the idea to just pushing my dad out of bed cos it's simpler and funnier and I sat here laughing and then thought I'd be generous enough to share the idea with Drowned In Sound
I'm 25 as well haha
cause I love them so much and they're not going to be around forever. I kinda feel sorry for insecure people who cant admit that they love their mum and dad.
Living in some dire shithole and moving back in with your rents because you're not strong enough to live away from them is a bit sad.
and their house is quite nice. my mum is like a million times cooler than anyone on here.
but I'd rather cut my feet off than move back in with her.
my mum is genuinely cool though, actually way cooler than any of you.
I'd rather be happy than have my parents being happy and me being unhappy.
give her hugs, help with the shopping and all that. been to gigs with her too.
but, even so, probably not. I'm an adult, I have my own life to lead.
either way, I reserve the right to make mild fun of people in their mid 20s who've never left home but probably could.
I have my own life to lead.

Makes the fact that I don't live with them so much easier.
but in practice this is the kind of thing that leads to confused feelings and awkward dinner table conversation and explanation
Probably one of my favourite users on here. Don't understand the bad press.
