Which can be confusing.
Siân is a girl's name and has an 'ah' sound in the middle. You're thinking of Siôn/Sean/Shaun.
My sister is called Sian, and my former housemate was called Sean, No, I'm pretty sure I'm thinking of Sean/Shaun and Sian. xx
i remember reading the name Sean in books when I was a kid before I'd met anyone named Sean... I definitely thought it was pronounced like "scene"
trying to have it both ways, the dick
apparently that's a name now
Although I usually just use my real name when I am around them
my small American brain is having difficulty comprehending
nah it's one syllable, I'm just struggling to think how to type it out
in North America it is often pronounced with a short vowel sound like "egg" while the British pronunciation sounds like the diphthong in "brain"
ahhhh I think I'm getting it now... "wait, what?"
is that the general North American accent just doesn't work like that
is that it turns quite a nice name into something fucking horrible.
i've missed you old chap
just been too busy to be buzzing around here much.
stay here much longer myself. but i cant let go :(
