Christmas treats
I just bought some Christmas marzipan and it struck me that maybe that isn't a THING in the UK like it is here (Norway). And there's probably lots of other things, I've forgotten about a lot of it since I lived over there but for example, obviously mince pies are a very British thing, we don't get those here at all. Ginger biscuits is like the most Christmassy thing of all here (description of the Scandinavian variety here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ginger_nut).
Tell me about the most standard Christmas treats that you have where you live/in your family and I'll try to come up with some more that you probably don't have.
CHRISTMAS
COME ON YOU SHITS
Marzipan at Christmas is definitely a thing in the UK.
Something i only ever see at Christmas - white peanuts + raisins + chocolate drops.
Like any bad-ass rebel, i just pick out the chocolates.
Sometimes i combine the chocolates and raisins.
No-one ever eats the white peanuts (which probably aren't even actually peanuts).

Well there's marzipan in Christmas cake
My mum always makes Christmas cake and I get to eat the leftover marzipan so marzipan is a Christmas treat to me.
