Would you still buy the same mattress new rather than make the saving.
seeing as no NEW bed frames are nice (which is a given) so you are buying one second hand, would you accept a mattress with it if it had been used xx number of times? what is xx? where is the line?
Other people are disgusting.
A smelly hobo like cat_race - 5 times
Countdown's Rachel Riley - I'd be more likely to buy it the more times she has slept on it
Might have to give it a bleach first though depending on the state.
creepy as fuck
Stick a mattress protector on it and you'll be fine.
To protect the mattress and provide extra comfort/warmth.
Cost £500. the best £500 i've spent in a long fucking time.
the ones I bought in March have a 25 year guarantee
When squatting, one always has matresses that have been slept on before, and we put them on the floor.
I am however a little intrigued by the way your phrased your question....i.e. you say <before you would buy it> rather than <before you sleep on it> almost as if you are more concerned about your moneysworth than hygeine
or something like that
my gf's dad/parents have moved 6 times since 1985 and each time they have moved to a new built place
which is really taking the no previous occupant germs thing to an extra level
whether it had only been slept on once or twice or not.
I can stand a hotel bed because I only sleep in it once or twice. I can also stand staying over someone elses house in their bed as I sleep in it once or twice and know the person who has slept in it. But if I'm buying myself a mattress, to last me however many years, I want it to be worn in by me.
and then offered to sell it you for £50?
I don't just lie about daily in a massive pile of jizz, you know
no thank you.
offers it to you for £10?
Meow has slept on one of my mattresses before. For three nights, no less, in a row!
could easily have been chintz or monipenni
Msmonipenni and I had so much fun sharing that bed! I frightened the life out of her when I started to strip off in the morning as someone put the heating on and I was being cooked alive.
CHrist knows what hapoened to make it creak like that. LET'S NOT THINK TOO CLOSELY (it was a new mattress though)
Mattresses in hotels must have been slept on by loads of disgusting people over time.
Must be bad having to pay for the privilege if you'd feel uncomfortable even sleeping on it once or twice.
who is selling a mattress they've only slept in once? It virtually never happens. My main concern for buying a second hand mattress is there must be something wrong with it or its well lived in.
We don't have mattresses in the caravan. Just foam. I replace the foam every other weekend as its cheap and you can't beat the feeling of a fresh bit o' foam.
If they get a new mattress in and they have been there for three years, that is a good 1000+ times it has been slept on, so 2000+ people. I wonder how often they replace the mattresses. Every 5 years perhaps? All that lies between you and 2000 people's sperm and sweat is a thin sheet.
REALLY thick ones and a bunch of covers.
shelf life it'll be drenched in man batter. Don't sleep face down whatever you do.
UGH. I've had to put my head on some manky pillosws in my time. You relaly need to replace pillows regularly.
My mate was bupsing her for a while - his cock and balls have been all over it. Good mattress though.
Claims to live 'minimalist' Has next to no furniture in his flat (yet has an insanely massive flatscreen) Sleeps on a bed with pillows and duvet but no sheets/pillowcases or duvet cover. That was last time I went over - Last I heard he actually had got rid of the bed and is on the floor. He's a bit strange.
when you know his job is in the design team - sourcing furniture.
you mean your mum?
too much banter to pull proper stats from.
