is an underrated road name
I've posted pictures of two buildings that aren't used.
Think maybe it's you who's got his wires crossed again, chief.
Especially in traditionally working class areas. There's one that's in a much worse state than that in Bethnal Green. The place is so rotten you could probably kick the door in with a light tap of the foot. I'm hardly a romantic, but there's something jarring about a place that was probably full of life every night for more than a century being completely silent and deserted.
go beat up a dog
The owners ripped all the redeeming interior features out, then it sat on the market for a few years because they were asking for silly money. I rang them once, just for the craic. I can't remember how much they said it was going for, but it was something silly (as in, in excess of £1m).
but didn't learn very much other than it's going to be kept as true to form as it started though if you say all the features are gone then I'm not so sure. I'm going to speak to them again next week though.
I know the price was set at £1.1m by the developers. Crazy!
this old abandoned gasometer
but now they're converting the entire old gasworks into a 'culture centre'; museum, galleries, schools etc.
that's really great! Where is it?
not far from the Olympic Stadium
You're an idiot.
Might as well have just typed out <insert most famous and clichéd attractive building in the North of England>
that's probably the most famous one in the City i live.
are you just having a bad day at work or something, bud?
and have a very Merry Christmas.
hope you get over it.
I'm going out for a doughnut. What flavour do you recommend?
i'd probably just get a veg pasty instead.
glad to help you through this rough time.
I always thought that this building didn't get the recognition it deserved: http://goo.gl/maps/NmVuB
