Went to Retrospectacular last night organised by Dan_thw. Was very fun, MJ karaoke was great. It was absolutely packed as well after the bands finished, went back in from the smoking hut thing out the back and it was rammed.

I think I ate a bad pie. I can't even remember singing my song last night AT ALL. Dominos have brought back The Meltdown pizza, I've been writing to them for two years asking them to do so, I am so so happy.

  We've got one of those spend 30 get 50% off vouchers, never order from their otherwise. How the heck they can justify their prices is beyond me, especially when their toppings are really poor quality. You get better quality meat from independentish places. They are the only place that consistently adheres to my request for extra pizza sauce satisfactorily. Bloody cheek that you have to pay extra for it, they should put enough on in the first place!

Afternoon

Surprisingly un-hungover considering it was the house Christmas meal yesterday, with a shitload of wine consumed. Chilling out today, painting and printing and drinking lots of tea. Might see if there's enough turkey left on the bones for a sandwich.

I was having a lovely day until my landlady decided to tell us she's visiting tomorrow

Idk why but she really, really winds me up. I think it's just the way she words things.

"Just a quick reminder to say I am visiting tomorrow."

Her email previous to that gave us a list of dates. I wouldn't really call it a reminder.

Argh I'm so irrationally cross. I'm tempted to just not tidy or clean up like a small 'fuck you' to her.

I just woke up. Actually ridiculous. Can't believe my drinking from Friday has

ruined my weekend to this effect. Gutted I couldn't go yesterday but I suppose I saved some money. What I am going to do today is hopefully buy a Lomography camera online with the money I didn't spend last night, and then cook some chicken.

Went to Los Campesinos! last night. Best time I've seen them.

Drank way too much as the result of a fairly shit week. Woke up dead late and got like an hour of sunshine.

Hi Tom!

I would've liked to have gone to that but we're steering clear of expensive weekends until the new year so we just stayed in Reading.

Nervous as I have a job interview tomorrow. I know I could cope with the job no problems but I don't particularly enjoy interviews (does anyone?) and I haven't done one for ages so out of practise. Also I am really struggling to think of enough examples of how I've dealt with a difficult situation/customer conflict face to face as I haven't really had many situations like that this year. I'M JUST SO LOVELY NO-ONE WANTS TO ARGUE WITH ME.

Had a little walk earlier practising interview answers which helped my anxiety a little but getting nervous again now.

Sat on bed watching Jame and Jimmys food fight and drinking mulled cider. Ordering pizza tonight. Can't wait!

  - We were planning to go to Playhouse but after we worked out how much it was going to cost
    
    just for travel and tickets, before booze/food etc we realised we had to be sensible and give it a miss as money is tight at the mo :( Very kind of you to offer a place though, thanks!
    We have a party to go to in Reading with good friends though so I'm sure we'll have a great night away.

Watched a shedload of Game of Thrones

After watching it on a shonky stream I realised entire episodes and scenes were missed out and bits that didnt make sense now make sense. Which is useful. FOUR FREAKING DAYS LEFT.

  Last day for me is Friday 21st and I'm not back in until the 3rd. Although I might go in on the 27th and 28th just for a bit of extra cash depending on how I feel / if I can be bothered.

finally finished watching the ultimate fighter finale(s) this weekend

both of them were pretty amazing the US one was particularly spectacular though, looking forward to UFC 155 in about two weeks.
