I remember being a student and thinking I'd never be the sort of person who'd work in an office and even though I didn't have any clue what I wanted to do I knew it would be too interesting to involve an office. Didn't work out that way unfortunately although I actually quite like the office environment sometimes.
It's kinda exactly how I thought it would be but more boring. It would be nice if there was a hot girl or two to flirt with. However knowing (hoping) that it's only a stop-gap, I don't dislike it.
I love my job, but it's so exhausting and stressful at times that I wish I was working in an office - I would love 6 months teaching, 6 months doing something else.
going back to my old work on Monday in a callcentre for about a month or so for some extra cash, actually looking forward to it, kind of missed the bants and that.

This is the only reason I took my office job
Once I realised there were no hot girls, I decided to get a better job.

Don't lose heart, mate.
Have a word with untrue.
You're not the only DiSer putting lids on jars for a living.
I'm 26 and have only ever clocked up 5 days of office work
I imagine office work would be just fine / semi-enjoyable on a day-to-day level - but crushing in a long-term, existential dread sorta way
Used to.
I now work in community centres, schools and libraries. Much better. Except the libraries.

Fixing aeroplanes to radio producer
It's a pretty common career path
Yeah, 8-5.
Pretty much spend my days staring at two massive 30" monitors.
It's cool though, I do fun projects that get seen by hundreds of thousands of people.
I'm a teacher
I am too
I love my job, but it's so exhausting and stressful at times that I wish I was working in an office - I would love 6 months teaching, 6 months doing something else.
As opposed to the 8:4 split you currently get?
ZING!
This is why I find it hard to moan about my job
This term's been an absolute shit, but I know that as of next week I've got two glorious weeks off. And come January I'll love it again.
Bar.
I find you tend to get really fat working in offices.
Work from home
Never worked in an office.
