Philosophical question: is a cheese board a cheese board if it contains mainly non-cheese items?
Judges!
Most cheeseboards only have 3 / 4 cheeses though

I take your point though.

Tasted Waterloo as an alternative yesterday
but was unimpressed, and opted for good old Tunworth instead. Slghtly underripe when I bought it, so should be perfect by Saturday.
I'll be round about noon, abydayglo
Started on it last night
It's runnier than expected. It may well be finished by then.

I can't work out the Jacques Rivette comment
does he make cheese in his free time? would you want to eat cheese with him (he wouldn't fit on a cheeseboard)? are you saying his films are cheesy?

let's talk chutneys
best to have two? one mild, one strong
say red onion / chilli
With respect, i think most of you have two many cheeses on your board
Les is more because your palate will get totally obverwhelmed if there are too many flavours. I think you need to make a few sacrifices and stick with your choices. You can always have a different selection next time.
But what do I know.
Two Many.
Can never have too many cheeses.
LEFTOVERS TOMORROW!
leftovers? WHAT ARE THEY?
(does suzy like cheese? the pugs love it more than anything but they're not relaly allowed it. Zara cries when you put the cheese back in the fridge.)
I've not given her cheese
My parents are ANNOYINGLY strict on what she has. They do make her steak for treats. WTF. i'm sure she'd love it but she eats her own poo so I don't think she has the best palate in the world.
3 on your day-to-day cheeseboard
5 for a special occasion
Not going to include meat items here, that's for my charcuterie board.
Stichleton
Comte
Taleggio
Stinking Bishop
A very stong cheddar
Throw in some Jacob's Cream Crackers, some poppy seed crackers, a good pickle and some grapes and we are done.
And port. Lots of port.
stinking bishop is deeply bland imo
if it were called gabrat or chorkel nobody would eat it
Cheese is really, really bad for you.
So i probably wouldn't eat a whole cheeseboard to myself.
alright Mr Motivator
Port Salut
fuckin
black truffle pecorino over and over and over again
