£1 Weekend Football Accumulator [#14, 8th-10th December]
As you all well know, i've outgrown prawn sandwich football nowadays, i prefer proper stuff, grassroots football that actually matters, but i do still rather like the feeling of the bookmakers paying for my lovely, lovely Real Ale. Why not join me in being one of life's true heroes?
RULES:
- place a £1 accumulator bet on the outcomes of ALL this weekend's Premier League games
- UPLOAD YOUR BETSLIP, including stake and combined odds
- cry a bit when Dimitar Berbatov's half-hearted performance on Monday night costs you grandz
This weekend there's a full card of TEN games, though for a change NO early (or late) Saturday kick-off, meaning you might want to back your £1 accy up with a second bet on the Saturday 3pm games (six in total).

I don't know how to dig myself out this hole. I did actually win about £80 at the weekend on a 4-team accumulator as well.
Will go and select at random just now and post shortly.
WEEK 13'S WINNING ACCUMULATOR WOULD'VE PAID...
around 21,763/1, largely thanks to Chelsea and Arsenal being a bit rubbish.

PRO TIP...
Apparent bankers have cost lots of people most weeks so far (10/13), so please don't try using your brain too much.
Week 1 - Spurs failed to beat Norwich at home. Newcastle failed to beat Villa at home.
Week 2 - Chelsea drew at QPR
Week 3 - United lost at home to Spurs.
Week 6 - Arsenal lost at Norwich
Week 8 - Chelsea dropped points at Swansea, and Spurs lost at home to Wigan.
Week 9 - Arsenal drew at home with Fulham, Newcastle were beaten at home by West Ham, Chelsea dropped points at home against lowly Liverpool.
Week 10 - Newcastle were beaten at home by Swansea, Everton lost at Reading, Chelsea lost at West Brom, United lost at Norwich and Fulham were beaten at home by shitty Sunderland.
Week 11 - Everton drew with Norwich at home. Arsenal drew at Villa.
Week 12 - Chelsea drew at home with Fulham.
Week 13 - Arsenal lost at home to Swansea, Chelsea lost at West Ham.
The only real odds-on 'banker' this weekend, according to the bookies, is Arsenal to see off West Brom at the Emirates. Chelsea will quite probably be heavily fancied to win at Sunderland, i'd have thought.

what's the closest anyone's come so far to 10/10?
Eight people have got 8/10s in various weeks.
7/10's very common.
Last few weeks the fixtures seem to have been harder to call, lots of upsets, so we're struggling at the moment. Lost of 4s and 5s.
When i got 8/10, the two games that cost me nearly £11k were Everton v Liverpool (where i'd backed Liverpool and they had a goal incorrectly chalked off with the last kick of the game), and Newcastle v West Brom (where i'd backed the draw and Demba Ba accidentally scored with his arse in injury time).
The odds are very slim. To predict one of three outcomes ten times is around 59,000/1, though generally 10-team accumlators people have backed have been anywhere from 500/1 to around 15,000/1.
If you're after actually winning money, you'd obviously be better just sticking a few tenners on some doubles. People do win them, though.
* the odds OF WINNING are very slim
the odds themselves are silly.
Ah, for sure
I wouldn't put money that way myself - my only big accumulators these days are FA Cup ones, usually in the early rounds and with much shorter odds. Was just interested in how close people had been coming with these.

Gone for a glut of draws... Probably could've picked another 2 or 3 tbh.
(I put £1.02 on, as I had 2 pence lying around in my account)

Might be an idea if I upload the full bet slip that gives more detail than simply 'Draw'
Although, it shouldn't be hard for you to work out...
It's fine, boss, don't worry about it.

Very tempted to go for a lot more draws but i tried to play it safe and go for home wins on those few that look like they might be draws (Swansea, Everton, Man City) Though I have gone for a cheeky Liverpool win away against the mighty West Ham! Might as well set my pound on fire.
Done mine, will upload after work

Who are y'all using?
I went with SkyBet just cos I had a small kitty left in an account. (Had a free fiver for SkyBingo once, and won £400 or so a couple of years ago with it, heeeeh).
Is Bet365 the discerning gentleman's choice?
I used to use Skybet...
but their odds are really poor compared to other sites.
I use Victor Chandler, because their site's a lot more user-friendly and they usually offer better odds.
Use this to compare odds - http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/
And this to look at the best offers - http://www.statto.com/home/free-bets
ok so on betvictor how do i do an accumulator?
i want in on dis shit
