there should be an arabic/middle-eastern food chain
theres la tasca (spanish), chiquitos (mexican), nandos (portugeues), turtle bay (carribbean) but not one for middle-eastern/arabic food.
it's some of the best food too, isn't it?

Turtle Bay?
With their massive chain of one?
Anyway, you are right. There are a load of people fiddling with this concept but none have really been rolled out. There isn't really even a turkish chain is there? Real Greek is getting there, but obviously Mediterranian rather than middle eastern.
I was going to suggest the Real Greek.
Obviously it's Greek cuisine (of a sort), but has loads in common with middle eastern food.
there are at least three turtle bays fella
You are absolutely right
three now. I know they are doing a few more too, so I shoudl pipe down.

It makes me feel awful
that I can't say 'Chiquitos' in my head without doing it in an incredibly racist Mexican accent.
