but at this time of the year it's coming into its element. stick everything in first thing in the morning, then come home to the lovely smell of slow-cooked stew :)
as I would be too aware that it would be like the beginning of an episode of Casualty which starts with me turning on the slow cooker and then leaving the house.
I'm going to have to get some corned beef now to have this for my tea tonight. Which means an extra spend at Tesco. Don't worry though, I'd already factored this into my answer in the Tesco thread.
corned beef

beef stew
My slow cooker has been sitting there unloved for a few months

I'm not sure I could do this

cornedbeef#
cube the potato and fry it separately with some onions first, also grate cheese over and stick it under the grill.
<3
Interesting!
Might try this tomorrow.
not sure frying the potato first is the correct m.e.t.h.o.d, man
boil, mash, add to corn beef, mix, fry onions, add mix, fry the lot
it's not traditional
but it is well tasty. serve with a fried egg.
nom nom nom
I've never tried making it
I just always try to get to Sam's chop House when I go to Manchester so I can have some of theirs <3
I have walked past that place many times... If only i'd known they made a good a hash!
yes, it is quite sticky isn't it?
Well done
