Do you know anything behind the Maldini naming tradition with greyhounds?
Absolutey loads of dogs have the name. Always wondered why.
Is it not just a lineage?
One successful dog years ago called Maldini, all the others are descended from them?

My Dad and I bought a share in him. He lives in kennels where they train him near Romford.
This is his first race, but all of the bants/piss taking (he looks like a labrador) leading up to it has been superb fun.
I think a DiS greyhound would be a GREAT shout!
