I don't think I've ever seen a film he was good in, and I'm old.
and kick ass and raisin arizona and wild at heart and vampires kiss and everything hes in
Not EVERYTHING: his agent/script review process is pretty fucked
Even his costume is the same in every film
he was pretty good in that
He was pretty shit in that.
he's borderline great in it
playing a sort of self-parody role, very funny and it increased my respect for him a lot.
Overall, though, yeah he fucking sucks. I recently watched that one where he plays a lawyer opposite Al Pacino who's the devil... can't remember what it was called, but yeesh, Keanu was just embarrassing.
not many as famous or successful as Keanu though.
Has Keanu not done Shakespeare? That'd be fairly amusing.
He's actually not too bad in it, probably because the character he's playing is a dumbass.
...in a tiny theatre in Canada... I for one think he needs credit for learning that as who would have thought that was possible?
He is quite good in Feelin' Minnesota (up against Dan Ackroyd's worst acting EVER though, he's actually worse in this than Grosse Point Blank) and My Own Private Idaho, Speed and Bill & Teds.
Kevin James should be receiving more bile in this thread. Dennis Waterman, Liam Neeson when he's just picking up the cheque and Kristen Stewart (though I do have Adventureland to watch so open to revisions there)
but apart from that he's not a great actor. He's at his best when he can play a character who doesn't really understand whats going on around him e.g Bill & Ted, The Matrix, A Scanner Darkly.
It's really astonishing that people keep giving him lead roles though - has anyone ever gone to see a movie because it's got Keanu Reeves in it? I just can't see him being a draw for anyone.
not acting, but have i got news for you this week was painful
there's something wrong with you lot. how many good films has he been in ? loads. that's how many.
see his 'performance' in Street Fighter: Rise of Chun Li or his audition tape for Mama Mia on YouTube for proof
is the worst lead-role actor ever
but it doesn't matter - he's the Mark E Smith of action movies
in any role where the character's not supposed to be a bit quiet and sulky
the first bill and ted is a masterpiece.
the guy from smallville is the worst actor ever
He couldn't even get his words out for a large part of one film.
