Me, ten minutes' walk
Then 10 minute walk.
I'm a Londoner that supports Everton. I have since I was seven. I'm now 36. Don't ask me why or how I started supporting them, but I've stuck with them since the early-mid 80s.
Bristol to Bournemouth.
Other side of Bristol
or 5 mins on the subway!
Usually walk it in about 40 minutes.
4 and half hour drunk walk.
or 20 minutes on the tram and then a 25 minute walk
usually, 20-30 minutes away depending on the buses but i won't pay those prices so i watch the reserves play for free (15ish minutes on the tube plus the 10 minute walk to the station (but this won't be true next season :())
20 Minute Tram then a 20 minute walk.
Later today 2.21 miles
It used to be 0.20 miles, until 2 years ago.
Around 20 mins in the car (although obviously it's longer in football traffic).
The training ground is currently about 50 mins by train (half an hour by car), but it's very likely that the push to shift to a new ground will get through, in which case I'll be reconsidering my membership.
Really I do
It's 50 minutes on the Overground from Dalston, but less frequent and a longer walk at the other end
10 minute train ride, 10 minute walk
Too far. Don't get to many home games these days. More of an away games man.
It's been as little as an hour on the train and as much as six hours on three trains before though. I'll still go most weeks, but on weeks where I've travelled a very long way to see a very bad performance (went to Anfield from Bournemouth this year to watch the 0-0 with Stoke) I'll end up sulking until at least Wednesday.
I go away more often, and also go to watch my local team more often (20 minute walk).
7.1 miles growing up
275 miles now :'(
Owing to being a glory hunting youngling, this is the closest I've ever lived to my team.
30 minutes tram
15 minute walk
doesn't really seem worth it tbh
Then a 25 minute grisly walk from Seven Sisters to White Hart Lane
Or 50 minutes on the Overground plus 10 minute walk if I'm feeling fancy
(or alternatively, a 10 minute walk to watch some corporate moneyball)
currently 3 hours on the train or something. trains are expensive though
i usually get the bus to leeds (3 hours) and then the train home (20 minutes). good to get that off my chest
39.1 mi, 54 mins In current traffic: 56 mins
Which is why I only go to 2 games a year or so. Flights are cheap enough, but once you factor in hotel, ticket and food etc you've burned through £200.
250 miles from my English team (Darlington) which is why I only go to 2 games a year or so, although that's more like £20, 6 hours each way on the National Express and staying at my Mum's.
Maybe I need to find out who my local team is and give them a go. It used to be Milwall, but fuck that on every level.
so I think mine's kinda worse cuz at least you can get to london in 5 hours now.
From London where I'm working at the moment though, fucking ages.
Old Trafford & Maine Road are/were each about 1.5 miles away, so <half an hour strolling.
Eastlands is about 3.5 miles away. Walked there once, took about an hour. Easier to just jump on the bus, though. One into town takes about 25 minutes, then one from there to the ground about 10.
There are about five non-league clubs within walking distance; anywhere between 20 minutes and an hour away.
Could probably get to about a further 50 clubs door to door within an hour on public transport.
not including the stop-off in the pub on the way.
Edinburgh to Inverness
which is a fair bit better then then 3412 miles that it used to be from Toronto.
Haven't been there since I moved here though.
Takes anything between 30 minutes to an hour to drive, about 75 minutes on the tube/walking.
2 hours or so by car, every home game
could do with moving back to sheffield
Grew up maybe ten miles away - actually on the Rovers side of Bristol rather than the City side but my Dad is a city supporter so I got it from him...
that's nothing, I can run that sub-40 mins.
am about 9 miles from Stamford Bridge.
I like Ajax though. Amsterdam Arena's about 310 miles away.
(typical Manchester United fan)
Royter doesn't count, obviously, because as we all know he is a Forest fan
and that's for the top LOSER spot. YOU BIG LOSER
usually, 20-30 minutes away
Edinburgh to Liverpool
born a 35 minute drive away
