(note: this thread WILL NOT descend into a dinner vs tea debate)
I eat my dinner/tea in the living room on a tray. There'a a table in the kitchen but it's really cold in there. Might rinse it under a hot tap, idk.
It's just less comfy than the settee.
Very occasionally my bedroom but only if my flatmate is watching something I don't want to watch...
but i have a giant bedroom with a coffee table so eat there
a little irked as i'm firmly in the 'eat dinner at the table with the family' gang
and sometimes on the floor (don't judge me)
can't be doing with a special tray just yet
I think knowing which is the front and the back of the cushion belongs in the gentleman / lady thread
hand-embroidered on their fronts
(meths; silky; toiletdog and wishpig, in case you were wondering)
I'm judging you pretty fucking hard right now
but when it's lots of different bits of food (eg sushi or meats, cheese & bread) and I'm having a bottle of wine and Strictly is on I'll set up base on the floor, arrange the spread and eat like a king.
you eat sushi off the fucking floor
I don't even
it's all good man
Especially if you've got a few different bits and pieces and you need to spread out.
with a can of stella
I usually shovel all my food into a hole in my face called my "mouth"
your posts are all really funny!
i like a tv dinner as much as the next man. but i also enjoy a sit down meal. and also a 'watch the iplayer while i eat in the kitchen' job.
she is mental tho.
I know you don't live with your mum and she doesn't eat in her bed and she isn't mental.
in front of TV 2%
at a restaurant/cafe etc 10%
on the street 3%
Actually I have eaten dinner in the car whilst technically at work quite often. mmmmm Burger King.
give or take a % either way.
the odd stinking burger at 5am, but kebabs are coming home with me to eat on the dining table, with knife and fork
Away: Fairly even split between room service and restaurants.
so i think it's more just an "i'm a bit mental" thing
with a knife and fork, just putting that out there
that just make you look proper chav
kitchen table - 97 %
dining table - 1%
settee - 2%
but I bloody LOVE eating in bed. Not a proper dinner though. Just a pizza or a bowl of pasta. Try not to have anything that would produce crumbs or I'll be in big, big trouble.
Theo shut this madman's excuse for a thread down
I usually hoover it all up with my mouth
at the kitchen table, surrounded by lots of separate plates of starters, bread and wine and cheese and the cheese grater and the bottle of olive oil &c.
In front of the TV. Got a weird thing where there has to be something good on TV for me to enjoy my meal properly too.
Have always eaten with the kids at the dinner table and had chatted whilst eating. I am of the opinion that this shit is really important when you have kids. We generally eat in front of the TV on Saturday and watch a movie.
why don't I eat at the dining table? Because we don't have one. Oh we have a small collapsible one that I could faff about with and eat at like a retired colonel but I can't be bothered with that.
