I'm not ok with drinking cold coffee
i like when coffee has ice in it
lukewarm coffee - yes
cold coffee - no
great thread, man
That last bit of your coffee which you've left sitting for a bit too long and you go and take a big swig of it to be met with icy cold coffee tasting liquid - No.
if i don't i'd be climbing up the walls
tepid/room temperature coffee can go to fuck
I'm talking stone cold coffee here. Coffee that was once hot and is now cold. Not iced coffee - that has its place.
Two people here spend all morning drinking a single cup of coffee. Wretched.
I don't actually ENJOY coffee. I take it because it's a stimulant and it's cheap and legal.
Maybe I even PREFER it cold. How about that?
I am not.
NB: I'm talking about coffee, i.e. espresso-based coffee, without milk, i.e. single espresso, double-espresso, long black. I'm not talking about "coffee" (any other disgusting shit that is not the aforementioned, but which people for some inexplicable reason call coffee).
Long blacks, in particular, are all too frequently made too hot, with a barista half-filling the cup with barely-condensing steam before pouring the espresso shots in — or worse, actually blasting the hot water/steam straight into the espresso shot. Way to kill a coffee.
Consequently, it is often necessary to let the coffee cool a little before drinking.
With regard to the OP, though, stone cold coffee is disgusting.
buying a big coffee in the morning. drinking half of it hot in the morning and then returning to the rest, cold, in the afternoon.
people who don't like coffee that's gone cold don't like coffee.
My dad makes a cup of tea or coffee, waits for it to go cold, the drinks it in one massive swig. Fucking FREAK.
he is severely autistic with learning difficulties. does your dad say '4 o'clock' a hundred times a day?
I'd like to retract this statement. for the sake of my client, meo's dad, meo and anyone else offended by it.
