A good suit is a good suit. But you don't need to spend that much. Zara do ace suits for cheap. As do Topman believe it or not. H&M suits are always paper-thin and shit.
Ben Sherman do nice slim fit suits. Then look in Hugo Boss or something if you want it to be special. And expensive.
for those things and not everyday stuff ypu can get a really nice suit for 200-250 quid
as long as it was against one of the more evil newspapers
But why do suits only come with one pair.of trousers? Surely trousers need washing much more than a suit jacket so they'll wear unevenly. I always think this about bra and knicker sets too.
Just spent £300 on one from Reiss, would probably spend a maximum of £400 or so.
Austen Reed have a contemporary line called AR Red/Cut or something, they're nice. Reiss are good if you're slim. Zara are way too slim though unless you're a racing snake and the quality isn't great.
Can't go wrong with M&S to be honest, for the money you probably won't find better, some of their suits can be a bit boxy though so definitely go for the slim ones.
I've got one of my dad's old Gieves & Hawkes suits, 25 years old and still going strong!
Don't just go in the typical High Street stores as well, I went to Moss Bros. and got a really nice Ermenegildo Zegna suit reduced from £500 to £150. Choose wisely and don't rush.
but if you're looking at the lower end of the scale there are amazing suit bargains to be had in TK Maxx. For the price of a H&M effort you can often find something pretty nice.
