In Malaysia they had this stuff called '100 Plus' which was tasty
Now you go please
but you can get there here nowadays.
i went to a shop that sold american imports today. £1.35 for a can of welchs, moutan dew etc. is that bad? i'm not sure, considering costa, starbucks et al charge £1.50 for a can of san pellegrino.
tbh in fenwicks some of the reese's products (nutrageous, peanut butter cups x3) are made in the uk and priced three times as much as any supermarket.
i've heard that the empire cinema is selling imports now too.
In the cheap bit near internacionale.
I'm so going to Fenwick tomorrow.
And the cassis one. I think that might have been limited edition though.
you can buy it in the chinese food store on Friar St.
There's a drink in New Zealand called L&P which I loved when I was there about 10 years ago
This is the best news ever. I am going there tonight if it's still open when I finish work.
but its tastes very different in this climate; it tastes so good out there because you're dehydrated and missing all your salt. There's so much sodium in it it tastes a bit like seawater over here
I didn't think of that. Still gonna buy some though.
But yes, it did taste incredible, and then I realised it has a ridiculous amount of artificial colourings / flavours / preservatives.
goes great with gin though :)
Probably won't taste as good as I remember, I have been building it up in my mind for a decade.
theres about 70% of your gda of sugar in one of the energy ones :(
It's a mix of Mountain Dew and Red Bull.
that green south african cream soda that tastes like irn bru mixed with cream soda
Why is Lucozade not available anywhere else?
as far as i'm aware glaxosmithkline have never produced it anywhere else
Not carbonated but a soft drink. Got little chewy bubbles in.
Vanilla Black Cherry Pepsi is also pretty good as well.
Seriously grim. You can get it in Wasabi (shop). I bought it because it was peachy flavour and it was really nice but the chewy bits of aloe were so horrible and the texture was just grim. Bleurgh.
Remember that from childhood holidays.
Used to be my favourite 'refresher' from the school vending machine after cross country running. Lovely.
The Peruvian Irn-Bru.
Mezzo Mix vs. Schwip Schwap. Mezzo Mix wins. Pepsi: always the bridesmaid.
The luminous orange one you get in Europe and the US that has twice as much sugar.
just because of this thread. I tend to mix mine with 1/3rd blue Powerade for variety as I once worked fast-food long enough to get bored with only one flavor in my drink. Best combo: 2/3rds normal Mountain Dew, 1/3rd pink lemonade (any variety). Vaguely grapefruit-esque and not too harsh.
Club Orange and Cidona.
but Schweppes do this green drink in Belgium Which is really good for hangovers.
there's a massively popular soft drink called Kinnie which has this weird burnt, bitter orange taste. It's on sale and advertised everywhere, just as much as Coke, and is the sort of thing you can drink litres of while trying to decide if you like it or it's actually disgusting. TOP TIP:- It's great with Southern Comfort, which I discovered by accident as a result of bar staff not understanding a word I say.
so much better than fanta
...and it doesnt cost £1.46 the dirty robbing bastards.
did you have one of those green ice lollies with bits of corn and stuff in? they can fuck off
