boiled, steamed, chucked in a wok. raw. one of the better vegetables, for sure
probably the #1 fan here. i'll fight anyone who argues.
or get the dried ones which might even be better than the fresh ones
this isn't really the time of year to be eating fresh broad beans

Your mum's a broad bean? No.
I like 'em better when they're shelled but often can't be bothered to do it. Also they smell a bit old folks' home when they're overcooked.
They are ridic cheap when they are in season from a greengrocers. You have to shell them, par boil them, pop them out of their tough outer seeds then you are left with a pitifully small pile of what looks like cheap tinned marrowfat peas.
then fry them with some onion for a wee bit and mix them with ricotta and have them with short pasta with some crushed pistachios on top <3
But then I had a broad bean and ricotta salad in Bocca di Lupo, and it was an absolute revelation. I dream about it to this day.
