I can't get past the spiral
FUCK YOU FOR SHOWING ME THIS GAME
if you've got a slow computer or a lot of other stuff running, there's serious lag which makes the spirals almost impossible (or, if it gets bad enough, actually impossible).
I somehow skipped the spiral
I can't get past 7.59. I know that's rubbish.
I can see myself playing this for at least another minute and a half.
I've only got to 19.26 though.
i might forget to eat and sleep and blink and stuff otherwise
I successfully predicted about 3 weeks ago that incandenza would post this thread. Since then I've been playing solidly and only just died in the game, so that I could post this comment.
So the benchmark has been set at just over 3 weeks.
my brain isn't wired for shit like this
what am I doing with my life
except for you, s_h. fuck you very much for beating the combined efforts of three people by like a second.
Arfie and gamecat and I watched the trailer - fucking hell - and it made us feel even more meagre. meagre-er.
probably some cyborg machine built just for playing super hexagon
I wonder if you can get this for android?
mainly cos no one's ever gonna beat this http://i47.tinypic.com/11t5wso.png
tbf i gave it another go cos i've got nothing else going on and i've not got close since. Or before actually. Can't get past 50 seconds.
because I had a feeling it was going to turn into one of those games you start re-living in your sleep if I didn't.
Can't get past that. I think there's a knack to it that I don't have.
But that theme music is awesome...
although it gets annoying when you're trying to sleep and all you can see or hear is fucking Hexagon.
i lasted one minute yesterday whilst having a shit
ran out the bathroom shouting 'i lasted a minute!!'
played it on the train last week and felt really sick for the next half an hour
the guy who made it completing it live on stage.. bwahahaha oh terry you machine
It only took me an hour or so. Much easier than Hexagon.
with just the 102 deaths.
(what is this sorcery?)
there are about 4 rooms to it, so somewhere between 102 and 400 deaths.
I'd strongly advice everyone to check out Terry Cavanagh's other games (I was telling IncandenzaUnderscore that I considered the chap pretty much a genius, hence inflicting Hexagon on him) - http://distractionware.com/
VVVVVV is astounding - ranging from amusingly clever to screen-punchingly difficult.
Hero's Adventure is a funny wee game in the vein of Zelda. Give it five minutes of your life. Oiche Mhaith is similar - a bit longer and pretty damn dark, but side-splitting in its own way.
Don't Look Back is an ingenious puzzle platformer with breathtaking moments.
At A Distance is almost indescribable - you need two players on two PCs over a LAN (sitting next to each other, so both can see both screens). It's a first-person exploration game where working out what the puzzle actually is takes far longer than solving it. I don't want to spoil it by saying any more about it, but I cannot recommend it highly enough.
he's a very good guy, very supportive of the indie scene etc.
he set up http://www.freeindiegam.es/ which has helped people like me get some exposure. very cool
really wish there was a competition for this thing i'd wipe the floor
(the guy who created it is first).
this is so hard
I can't download that. My life will be gone. Its one of those games that goes back to the start so quickly and easily that you just end up going 'oooh just one more go.....FUCK!!....okay last go'
I've not been able to get past about 23 seconds
probably got a bit of a head start. I was in the library yesterday, when I hit level 3 I said FUCK YEAH out loud
luckily there were only a few other people there
Goodbye productivity. Forever.
looks friggin hard. is it?
but easier as my brain works better pressing with either thumb rather than on a keyboard.
I can't really get past 18 seconds.
my work keyboard is too shit to play normal hexagon. my employees knew what they were doing all along.
looking forward to super on pc...
i go to check the time, then realise i will be able to check in about....10 seconds (30 seconds probably at most) so it will still be pretty much the same time.
Well, thats a good anecdote isnt it.
...serious contender for GAME OF THE YEAR.
(Can beat 60 secs; but rarely much longer...)
Got it for my iPhone..
My best time is 59 seconds.
