This is what we have round the back of the house- http://www.ravishlondon.com/items/(1511).html
Cool makeover. Are you really enjoying the new place? I need to move.
Not the most exciting area, but it's nice enough. And I like living in a flat that's half a Victorian terraced house, rather than a modern one in a big block like the last few places I lived in - it's more homely.
The last few places I've been have felt so sterile! I'm glad you're enjoying it.
"Peculiar Unisex Hair Salon"
For all those into peculiar hair I guess...
Happy days :D
about 5 minutes walk from there. its unbearably freshers still atm :(
it was a terrible evening. are you coming to the festival this weekend? i want to buy you a whole glass of beer
i dont think I can afford cause of renty rent the fest but do you need tickets to get into all the bars/venues?
I promised I'd buy you a whole glass of beer too!
id love to come for a drink but skinted :(
The Castle but not the gig room, Gullivers but not upstairs, Soup Kitchen but not downstairs, and Nexus. No entry to KRAAK or 2022 without a wristband.
I've been there!
But it does contain a blow up dollll in the river, whichbsomewhat spoils the surprise of the link, but I thought id better say in case anyone gets into trouble, like I did when i opened the hairy bum pic that georgiabeth putvup earlier .
better than it looks
I hope you were able to move somewhere more tidy, but I gotta say, that's an epic photo.
I miss Heaton.
There's not many pics of my immediate neighbourhood, although I did find this one from 1920. Joanna Lumley's got a house on this road (God knows why, I'm sure she could live somewhere a little more salubrious):
I once left an incoherent love letter for her under the wiper of a car that i was convinced was hers......
This is pretty much opposite where I live. I dropped a card off for Fabrice Muamba there http://www.flickr.com/photos/ddtmmm/2246909768/
Christ (re the pub.)
Also, so so sweet re the card <3
Or at least it was whe I went back over the summer. Was alwways a drug den that place.
ty. I hope he kinda didn't read it as I was that drunk i cant remember what I wrote in it.
Here's what I assume is a real photo: http://andyx.com/innersunset.jpg
They made us go inside Ocelot. I was terrified.
There were some going up and down the Clyde by gourock on Monday and I always get a shiver when I see them.
Have you ever smelt the inside of one of those things? URGH.
and some would save up and bathe, but most didn't. The stentch must've been putrid.
Also packs of 20 were 8p a pack. Sigh.
and everyone laughed. Then I accidentally stole the little walkie talkies off the boat and they accused the whole school of being thieves.
HA IT WAS ME, YOU KNOBS.
sorry i've ruined the thread sorry everyone
I used to live right near there (as 1 million other students do). I lived on Welton Place.
if you hadn't said Russia, I'd have assumed somewhere (grim) in the UK.
There isn't a picture of my house anywhere, but I lived there last year and it is just next door, so it will have to do.
Lovely place though
one of the nicest bits
I love Castlefield
and nature reserve along that bike track
kindof the bottom of the top left corner
where is that?
Edinburgh is nice :)
do you know my friend nik?
though Edinburgh is so small that I've probably seen him/her/it.
is an alien
Are they actually meant to be moles? Never been able to work it out.
Definitely better than the alien.
Someone was stabbed outside there a couple of NYEs back. Never been inside.
and forgot to pick up my washing machine cleaner at the check out. Could you please go and see if it is still there?
Quite literally. Sorry.
I live about a 25 minute walk away from said tracks.
In that case, it's near my house too everybody. I was going to find a picture of Morrisons
or are they silent
(bonus points if you know which pub is featured on the left)
The building on the right no longer exists, it now looks like this:
Minus the wild animals of course.
Apologies for the 'hipster' filter
So 30 seconds walk in any direction is prettier.
or up here
It just cost me about £3 to download that hires photo of a rural slum over 3G.
Admittedly not particularly recent, but it still looks exactly the same (only without the snow)
apparently the smallest and oldest council house in the UK
this is also on my road
it's a norman castle/national trust site. I walk my dog there
pretty poor picture q
up on the hill from the water (looking south)
view from, down to the water
