I like to stand towards the back to the right. Preferably leaning against a wall.
and favor the side of the cute bass player.
During a break, I loudly mention a contagious disease. "Doc says I got whooping cough, but I dunno, don't believe him." Ya know, give my group a little space.
so I try to get there early so I can be up front. I just got home from seeing the Raveonettes and unfortunately was in the back the entire time. Couldn't see a thing :(
but often nearish the front without being quite at the front.
a bit to the side, unless its a band I really love and I'll go in the centre. dont see the point of standing at the back
Don't wanna be up there with the front row weirdos (who often never move, just stare in awe)
The back is for cowards and old people. Don't really experience the gig if you're right at the back.
if it's as small as the ones i tend to go to nowadays (because i'm really cool) back always.
if it's Springsteen at the Emptihad then I'm forcing through the crowd to try and get as close as possible. same for the roses at heaton park.
Everyone in front of me for standing up.
in order to block as many people's views as possible.
cos you get the best sound
if im with someone usually further back to the left
If people are sitting on the floor I try to obstruct/tread on as many as possible.
getting beaten to a pulp by the sound
