Get a Fruit Shoot or a Five Alive down you kid, at least an Um Bungo
I couldn't stand the taste of alcohol until I was about 16
That's how I always describe it to people as well, it's still as horrible to me as it was when I was a kid.
duvet, cold pizza, Friends re-runs
I mean, it definitely seems to have happened, but lime and water being a 2-year-old's favourite drink, a restaurant mistakenly serving whisky instead of juice to a 2-year-old and then the 2-year-old nearly finishing it - it's all ridiculous.
I bet your parents have a photo of you biting into your favourite jam sandwich somewhere
Fuck it, I've convinced myself - the kid's mother has engineered this entire episode in an attempt to get a reality tv show.
" "As soon as I sipped it I had the slight burny feeling in my throat and warming in my chest." "
if quotes don't work then fuck off dis
."they work within a paragraph, but if the para is contained entirely within quotation marks dis will fuck it up. you can however trick dis by putting a fullstop, or anything, before the q marks at the beginning of the para."
"i put it in two lots of quote marks so it would work, like i've done here, but then i added the caveat without thinking. hoist by my own petard."
I couldn't do that
did someone else order whiskey?
did the person taking the order not understand it?
i doubt it was a total bants joke, like
I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON
It would just make the poor blighter a bit sleepy.
a lot less blood = higher concentration
Though yeah, sounds like he slept it off
beaucoup moins de sang = concentration plus élevée
Bien oui, on dirait il l'a cuvé
In ye olden days a swig of whisky to send the baby to sleep was standard parental practice. I wouldn't recommend it personally, but I doubt it's likely to do damage.
Instead of being outraged?
whilst on holiday.
Had to be put to bed and had a hangover the next day :D
I then proceeded to be sick everywhere. Some things don't change.
how much water did they add to that whisky?
I hope it was a Prambuie.
if that makes me as bad as Lucien and his kite deaths, then so be it.
Why was a two year old having a birthday party at Frankie & Bennie's?
Surely social services should be involved for that alone.
is not a double whisky. And why shouldn't a concerned parent take their child to A&E if they have any sort of concern?
as you would if you were trying to milk it... and it was mixed, and he took just 10 sips.
not saying this is ideal. obviously i don't think children should be given any alcohol at all, but it does seem like an overreaction & that she's playing it up for the media.
how this is national news, i don't know
she was concerned.
go to a&e, don't go to a&e. just don't whine about it on the national news.
Looks a bit too much like your average DiSser to me.
proper t shirt
archetypal disser, surely?
they happened to order a drink which looked exactly like a whiskey and tonic or whatever it was at the same time, so they got mixed up. I think A&E was going a bit far.
