Is this going to hurt like hell unless I go to a dentist?
but then the tooth could decay and then you'll cry like a baby. Worst pain ever.
so if I book a dentists' appointment for later this week, will I be okay?
I left mine for 18 months. The pain really hit me when it started to get cold outside. I remember breathing in and the pain being so sharp I went dizzy.
i recently chipped two of my back teeth and i guess that structurally weakened them because i broke both of them just by eating, now i live in constant pain and it hurts to chew food
got no health insurance, i could probably afford to have the teeth yanked out but not anything else, just not ready to take that step
so I think I'll book an appointment for Thursday. Thursday seems like a good idea, and if it does get any worse then I can always just go to hospital or something, can't I?
If only there were some sort of National Health Service helpline for this sort of thing...
get some benzocaine (oral numbing gel/liquid) and some ibuprofen, apply the benzo frequently and take 400mg of ibuprofen in the morning, 400 at lunch and 400 at dinner. you won't feel a thing. not safe to take that much constantly, but for a week you'll be fine.
but watch for infection because that will fuck you up. i doubt a small chip is going to turn infected that quick tho.
It hasn't really bothered me yet.
i have a chip on one of my front teeth from falling face first onto the pavement 10 years ago and it has never caused me any pain.
all dependent on whether the nerve is exposed, I guess. good falling over skillz, btw
stumbled down the street for a few seconds and the next thing i knew i was lying in the recovery position on the floor of a specsavers.
This puts everything in perspective.
