Flying from Heathrow. Getting there 2 hours in advance as recommended would be painful.
gets there just after 1am. sit on a bench all night watching TV/movies on a laptop.
watch T5 though, really hard to find a plug socket in there.
don't do this
nightbuses to heathrow are really unreliable and they drive around all the terminals and i missed a flight once because of this
Just trying to work out what time to get a cab. 4.30am? From Bermondsey?
dont take chances
I have no luggage to check in.
Thinking of booking a cab at 4.30am (Bermondsey to Heathrow - apparently an hour in standard traffic, but should be quite quiet then, right?). Check in opens at 5am... need to clear security by 6,25am. This works, right?
I'd probably book it for 4.15, but I tend towards being over cautious.
an hour in a cab's gonna cost you about fifty sheets.
are work paying or sutin?
Don't think I know anyone in London with a car, not one who'd give me a lift at that time at any rate,
5:30 long haul
6:15 short haul
the security can be a right pain in the arse first thing in the morning. I'd give it plenty of time.
Argh. Cab for 4.15 I think. Surely that's fine?
You fuckers make even more paranoid than I already was.
You'll probably be over early, but you can treat yourself to a Spoons breakfast while you wait.
I'd get there really early probably. Not going to be a huge amount of sleep the night before, and I'd rather wait at the airport than wait at home and get delayed or something.
