Becuase of course he is as much a victim as anyone...
if police, and even MPs, DID try to mislead the press then the majority of the blame has to lie at their feet.
He doesn't deserve an apology, and he shouldn't have given the go-ahead to print such filth, but if he was acting on information from others, particularly those in even higher positions of authority, then they are at least as culpable as he is.
I think the point still stands, though, yes he is culpable, but what about those who specifically told the press these mistruths about Liverpool fans? Who are they? Where are they? Have or will they be named, and will they have to explain themselves?
he's apologised recently but claimed he was in turn fed lies by police officers
if he wasn't such an absolute cunt.
that deep down he still thinks that the real reason "Liverpool turned on The Sun" was not because they authoritatively smeared those that died and were caught up in a devastating tragedy for the region, but because Liverpool was pro-Labour and The Sun supported Thatcher.
He really should be keeping his head humbly down right now, what an imbecile.
to look more like a cunt over this but he dug deep and managed it
of fathomless depths
in the public eye.
To go on Question Time and spout his views, is it?
He didn't report what he'd been told, he revelled in it. He enjoyed it actually, far more than if he was simply putting what information he had out there.
his determination to stick the boot in and the fact that he really seems to enjoy doing it.
He'd be dragged on and slaughtered. Would have been fantastic.
is Victim 97.
Maybe all football games should have a moments silence for him?
the fact that the journalist who wrote the article told him it was unproven allegations and that it shouldn't be called "The Truth" whilst he was personally drawing up the front page of that edition of The Sun is of no consequence...?
This guys mouth should have been stapled shut a long time ago.
Don't worry Kelvin... Satan's got a hard-on for your ass, and is waiting for the day you arrive in town.
he didn't have to keep repeating it and saying he'd never apologise just about every other tv appearance for years afterwards
either which way
Preposterous tales, now then! now then! preposterous tales in the life of Kelvin Mckenzie.
He has got away with having a succesful career. He really should shut up and take it like a man. There's already a surplus of victims in this and he doenalify.
Although doenalify is a nice looking word.
