Sorry, just wanted to use that thread title, you can do the rest.
can't be having a bad word said about the badger
Two guys in the stands, funny guys of DiS. It was a beautiful, surreal moment.
The game was light, entertaining, meaningless fluff.
You and G4lactdwcSt543rrupt10n?
I thought I made my feelings on humorous comments very clear.
When I saw the teamsheets I knew we were in for a drubbing so I just sat back and treated it like a friendly (which is how Solbakken was treating it, clearly). Enjoyment was aided by Stephen Hunt being subbed off at halftime after what must surely be his last appearance in a Wolves shirt.
Also I was sitting in front of an Aussie girl and her Valley Girl friend, and they spent the whole match debating amongst themselves as to what was going on. They got really excited by the free wi-fi and the Aussie girl kept telling people off for booing Hunt, saying it was "unsportsmanlike".
Was also good to have a brief look at Zeli "England's First £100m Player" Ismail for ten minutes at the end. Looks pacey.
I've always been a big fan of 'let's pretend we scored a goal'.
from the johnson challenge, despite playing the rest of the game.
bebe vs obertan should be a thrilling battle tonight.
where hardly any contact was made?
I'm hoping he's just trolling Liverpool fans. Haven't seen much in the way of confirmation yet.
I think it might rain.
its going to be dry i think
Just because I'm off to QPR Reading and Loftus Road is prone to flooding in heavy rain
Here's a chant you can sing about Giroud tonight:
i wanted to start one that began - chim chiminy chim chiminy chim chim cher-oo.. dug duh duh duh duh duh duh duh Gir-oud. need to think of the middle bit.
I'll stick with the Hey Jude one i think
after making 11 changes from the side that beat Blackburn.
Happy with the performances at the moment.
Heroic performances from Lees and Pearce, who genuinely looked Prem quality despite their age. Fellaini and Pienaar, who have started the season well were passengers throughout. Diouf was our only player of real quality on the ball, and ran the game for us. I think I actually love him.
Having spent around £30 over the last two years watching Warnock basically throw League Cup games and then laughing about it afterwards
Still playing in a trance. Still can't hold onto a lead. Still desperately chopping and changing the defence to see if that helps (spoilers: It doesn't.) Still got a few decent kids in the reserves who aren't ever going to get a game elsewhere. Ballers still trying to remember how you play this game. Mancini still incoherent with rage. Lambert still a manager who gets a bunch of shithouses to do the simple stuff well. Still hoping we can get a fighting draw at Fulham.
look well and truly burnt out. So does every team that had a large contingent at the Euros but we seem more clueless and lethargic than most. It'll click sooner rather than later though.
I've grown to like the League Cup a lot more now that it's just accepted as a tournament to give some of the kids a run out in. Hopefully this Henriquez kid gets a bit of game time and a start for Powell would be nice.
Wellbeck might have played but will probably be rested now valencia is out. Hernandez and angel upfront perhaps, bebe and Brady on the wings. Frightening.
expect Pardew will give s brief run out to some of our recovering injuries but it'll be primarily kids and benchwarmers.
expect Colo to add some class and tiote to be hilariously on a mission to destroy all and will get a red card.
Cisse may be played i hear to give him confidence, if he finds it all is possible, but our attack will be without ben arfa and thus lack some fluency
If he plays tonight he'll probably turn everyone in the stadium into a ghost.
there were plenty of times last season where he'd do nothing for 88 minutes with a couple of magic strikes thrown in, once he hits one he'll probably be fine. He'd be hard pressed to keep up his goals-to-games from last season.
that's definitely an 'away leg' side
gosling and vuckic crap. Goal for man u seems harsh but on balance they have been better. We've been alright though, Tiote running our team. Good goal from anderson tho
I'm not sure if Vuckic is going to turn out to be good enough
strength holding off two players, moving it from foot to foot and making the angle for a low shot across the goal... everything else was shit.
who will just enough to make people think he looks good even though he'll spend most of the game giving the ball away, failing to latch onto through balls and fluffing his chances.
He might come good but I'd say his future probably lies in the Championship.
We stuff a relegation rival in the whatever-it-is cup. We'll draw some shitbag team like Carlisle in the next round who'll unceremoniously dump us out, then we'll lose the league fixture.

this is sad
and it was good. Wish i was watching.
if Obertan could cross he'd be dangerous
but then united fans already knew that didn't they
is he playing badly, just about to get sent off or both?
a mate of mine's just described him as 'a great prosect'!
Mad to believe he cost United £20m, plus that again in wages, yet you don't really think of him as a major player for them.
Hard to say whether he's been a huge flop or not given that he's won three titles and a European Cup, but i guess you'd have to say yeah.
<added to spreadsheet>
Yeah, he's been a massive flop. £20m for the next Ronaldinho... I don't know whether it's the injuries, mismanagement, or sheer lack of drive. but he's not come close to paying out on his very evident talent.
Lovely goal though.
Top lad that kid, he's become a fan favourite (who is actually good) really quickly and at only 18 should have a few decent years ahead of him.
Never bet on the Hoops in a cup competition.
has been built on ludicrous short termism!
Wouldn't have stayed up if we hadn't sacked Warnock
BUY MOAR PLAYERZ
Paul, via text: "Arsenal more impressive than Chelsea last night. Giroud aside not one of our starters are First team starters. Chelsea had most of theirs playing"
Arsenal put 6 (six) past Coventry City AND it looks like Liverpool might win a game! Fucking bricking it.
And that they're all just Spurs fans trolling to make Arsenal look silly
AveKo 0-15 Nevezis Kedainiai
Petohazi 1 - 12 Zalaegerszeg
as bottom division rangers beat european footballs motherwell
fucking hell fire, i've never seen a lad pull on the shirt and be so bad.
he made bebe look like gascoigne... absolutely terrified of the ball, no pace, didn't know where he was or what he was supposed to be doing there. felt so sorry for the kid by the end, cleverly practically ordered him into the overlap and then shook his head and played it back inside.
Wisdom at rightback could push Flanagan as 2nd place behind Kelly. Assaidi looked confident as did Yesil.
But Suso looks like he might just be as good as we'd all hoped. Just a shame Stewart Downing has to take part in these games with us.
our fans'll probably outnumber theirs
pretty winnable tie though
still outsung the rest of the ground.
Sunderland v Middlesbrough
Swindon v Aston Villa
Wigan v Bradford
Leeds v Southampton
Norwich v Tottenham
Liverpool v Swansea
Chelsea v Manchester United
Reading v Arsenal
would have been nice to register three wins this season over leeds.
It'd be good to play them again some point
Wheyyyy up the Boro!!
First touch to die for
I don't know if Chelsea miss him, but we don't miss him.
