What can I do about that then
I'm guessing I've hurt it somehow whilst lifting weights though I didn't feel it at the time. It hurts at work cos I stand up all day and isn't getting any better (think it's getting worse if anything). Has anyone else pulled a muscle in their back or something and is there any point going to the doctor? Can't imagine there's much he can do.

I've pulled a muscle in my chest doing benchpresses and in my back doing clean &press. Hurt like fuck. All you can do is rest. BUT, you say it might be getting worse- it should be getting better by now, so I'd get it seen to.
Possibly a silly Q, but when you were wrecked at the weekend, did you vomit? Because that can make a torn muscle a lot worse.

It just started hurting at work and I put it down to that cos I've had no back pain at all since starting there until now, and I've only relatively recently started lifting the fuck out of dumbbells cos I'm strong as fuck fuck off this thread is over I'm too strong massive biceps
