Assuming the youngest he could realistically have been is 14 and the oldest is 18 he has to be between 45 and 49 I reckon.
when I turned on Radio 1 once and they were live from some big club thing and it was around the time uk garage was really big and the crowd were booing him, which was apparently a good thing then. And he said 'we're live here and they're booing because they like it!?'
You could tell by his voice that he genuinely wasn't sure.
Simon Mayo was 54 on Friday and I believe that Dave Pearce is about seven years younger than Simon Mayo. Therefore my guess is 47.
