Apparently it's being launched today.
If I can't use my cock to control it I'm not interested.
I take it you all agree.
Someone here must've tried it. Does it work?
Feel the wrath of my cock you horrible pigs.
Maybe don't read 50 Shades of Grey.
So that's definitely how I typed it.
Hope this helps.
i got that part. oh never mind.
I had you pegged as the main novelty/fake account creator.
Either ^this is all part of your fiendish plan to throw off suspicion, or I'm going to have to broaden my circle of suspects.
Apple (and most other tech giants) generally produce a number of different prototypes and any device you'd have had for six months would be significantly different to a GM release device.
So your trolling isn't even that great. Sorry pal.
so much as someone badly satirising KennyDope's attitude towards Apple over the last year or so.
If you're thinking of defecting I can only assume it's because of something inherently annoying in iOS/iTunes (which isn't going to go away), something particular in the S3 you like (which the iPhone is never going to offer) or because the S3 is cheaper, which is a good enough reason.
I'm actually tempted to look at the new Nokia Windows Phone 8 stuff in January when my HTC contract's up. Nokia's hardware is amazing and I'd guess any Win 8 software issues will be sorted by then.
If you 'crack' it or whatever then you can do shitloads and, like Linux, you can completely fuck your system up.
check out the battery life on that
Just make a back up. I've messed up a couple of times while flashing custom roms onto my S3 but all you have to do is back it up beforehand and you can restore it exactly to how it was before with all your apps and settings etc. The rooting process is really easy now too. It literally takes about 3 minutes and you don't need any geek knowledge at all.
I don't get what you mean by there isn't a wild amount of customisation to Android in a contract. I'm on contract and have tweaked my phone to make it far more capable than it was out of the box and far more capable than the iPhone imo. To Android battery naysayers, my battery lasts about 2 days with normal usage. I think that's pretty good.
Each to their own friend
HOLY GRIMACING FUCK
A better display and a higher pixel camera?
I'll stick with my 3G for yet ANOTHER year if that's the case. Surely a few new updates or apps?
you must take good care it. well done. mine just broke a couple of weeks ago. it wasn't a sign.
But have never updated the OS on it after the 3GS came out, meaning the nets a bit slow and I can't play the newer apps but otherwise it's fine. I can check emails, the net and listen to music. Which is what they all do, right?
Until someone moves things forward, I'll put up with it and pay £20 a month I guess.
But I've had my moneys worth.
£400 for the 16gb 3G I recall and was on a £35 a month contract. When the 4 came out I asked to upgrade and the best deal at the time was the same amount per month and £200ish for the phone. Didn't seem worth it really so I just switched to a basic contract called Simplicity.
I need to move on really but I honestly don't see what the newer models do that is £100s a year better...
It's lasted 4 years so maybe it'll do one more. Albeit somewhat reluctantly.
It's a longer display and longer phone but the same width.
Phones are too big already.
The biggest thing to happen to iPhone since the iPhone.
Not only sort of meaningless but even if you take the intended meaning not the actual meaning it's definitely way behind the stuff offered by the iPhone 4 or the original 3G in terms of iPhone leaps.
Samsung and Sony have got a real window of opportunity here to make some ground up. One good gimmick and people will switch over quite happily I'd wager. With Sonys music catalogue and cloud gaming purchase, I bet they bring something AWESOME out in the next year.
I'd say the ground has been pretty much made up. People on the whole no longer subscribe to the 'iphone = best' theory.
Prediction: Sony won't do diddly. They don't know their arse from their elbow when it comes innovating in terms of software or using their IP in useful ways. Nice (often annoyingly proprietary) hardware, though.
4g will be a big draw for some folks I guess but not me personally. Feel Apple have lost their way recently which you can understand as they readjust. But to make out 'the sea is bluer' thanks to a bit of tech is pure hyperbole and a company using meaningless buzzwords to convince people to part with their cash rather than doing what they've done so well in the past and just letting the product do the talking.
That leaves me clamoring to upgrade form the 4. I probably will when my contract ends, but it's just "a bit of a better iphone".
how am i supposed to fit it in my pocket?
i mean even my iphone looks shit in my pocket but my housemate with his s3 looks ridiculous, makes it look like he walks around with a ps vita or something
Can't do anything a Galaxy S3 can't.
that google, so indie, so different.
I agree that Apple beat Android in terms of stability (something I was always a bit envious about) and user friendliness but since the Jelly Bean update on the S3 it is finally as stable as an iPhone. It doesn't lag or freeze or anything. I've used iPhone 4s and the GS3 is just as smooth and as fast.
THe apps argument is largely irrelevant now. There are very few must have apps that are exclusive to iOS.
Android is so much more flexible than iOS, especially if you like to tinker with things. I've just downloaded this app called Tasker which you can pretty much automate anything with. I'm still getting my head around it as the options are huge but so far I've got it to do small things such as not rotate the screen when using certain apps, to turn up the brightness when I;m looking at photos, turn on gps automatically when I open maps or navigation, to open the music player when I put my headphones in and to only turn on wifi when I'm near my home or work routers. You can do other stuff with it such as say you were picking up a mate from their house, you can set it detect when you're near their house using cell towers and it'll send them a text saying you're outside. It's a ridiculously good app.
It's also got loads of other stuff iOs doesn't have such as live widgets and NFC and things like when you are reading a text from someone you can put the phone to your ear and it'll call that person automatically. ARGH WHY DO I CARE I DON'T CARE WHAT PHONE PEOPLE THINK IS BEST.
Not so much for the product but the way they creating an emotional attachment to the product. Not going to lie, I want one.
Can't see me changing for the sake of a bigger screen which will really only let me see more facebook updates or emails that I want to ignore. That argument about it not supporting NFC and mobile payments is bollocks as well. No shops have the technology yet so why waste space or money on it now. I don't get the love for the S3. It's fucking massive and the only people I know who have them use a stylus!! When did phones need to be as big as they were when they were first invented?
Are you sure it wasn't a Galaxy Note they were using?
They said it was the latest Samsung. I switched off when i saw them with a stylus and what looked like a small laptop screen.
or else you'd look like a complete idiot now.
Nothing amazingly new. No amazing new design. Outranked by some of it's competitors.
But everyone will still buy it like unthinking morons.
