Phone playing up, still under warranty. Choice of two Carphone Warehouses nearby with a Repair Centre. Went for the one that's a bit nearer.
Took phone in on Friday was assured it should be done for me within 24 hours. No update yesterday, so tried ringing them towards the end of the day. No answer on the phone - Seems a bit of a con to have a phone number that never gets answered.
Still no update today, so thought I'd pop in to see what whether it was ready and they just hadn't bothered to let me know. The chap I spoke to looked at me a bit strange when I said I'd brought it in on Friday and it should've been done for Saturday. It turns out that the engineer is actually on holiday until Tuesday, and has been since Friday, so what I was told when I took the phone in was absolute bollocks.
