What does it even mean?!
I can't believe you bedwetters actually vote for them.
It should generate just enough interest to last until 6.00, and after that i'm not bothered if anyone replies.
it's amazing what we'll do to get through the last bit of a friday
the way of the future the way of the future the way of the future the way of the future the way of the future the way of the future the way of the future the way of the future the way of the future
And some countries aren't even allowed to develop it
but thats only cos your lot deliberately did not invest in low energy economy using renewables, when it was viable for time.
(by your lot i mean thatcher major blair)
Had global warming even been invented in the 80s?
Employs a shed load of people and keeps a lot of construction companies going. Pretty safe in this country as well.
are corrupt, racketeering, unsafe crooks who will cut costs, line their pockets with state subsidies and leave the tax payer to pay the bill when it all goes wrong
he'd worked for the US government and actually had a nuclear power firm shut down for this sort of thing, and then it sort of came back as another different company that dodged the rules he'd helped bring them down with.
is a different kettle of three-eyed fish though
There's absolutely no way on Earth I'll be voting for those irrational fuckwits. Which is a shame as I quite like some of their policies but all the emotion and anecdotes over logic and evidence bullshit makes it impossible to vote for them in good conscience.
I throw your subject-line straight back at you. Dickhead.
But that's irrelevant anyway. I 'm referring to policy documents I've read in the past rather than individual members, many of whom I don't doubt are sane and rational people.
sometimes the three main parties do things that are unforgivably awful
The fact the Greens have nowhere near as much power or ability to act makes it hard to make a straight comparison between them and the three main parties.
what gives us the right to seek to deny that opportunity to 95% of the world's countries?
if you prevent the majority of countries from using it.
Most aren't prevented from using it as such, they merely lack the funds to develop it.
No one's stopping me, I just don't have the cash.
and access to markets & resources ?
who approves and guarantees loans etc ?
you could hitchhike around the world and dip bins - can't do that with nuclear power as there are international standards you are FORCED to adhere to ... for safety of course, nothing political at all
who I believe is open to everybody
where I'll agree on most issues, but they come out with the odd point like this so I never really take them seriously
EN105 The Green Party is fundamentally opposed to nuclear energy, which we consider to be expensive and dangerous. The technology is not carbon neutral, and being reliant on uranium it is not renewable. We consider its use, moreover, to be elitist and undemocratic. There is so far no safe way of disposing of nuclear waste. To a degree unequalled by even the worst of other dangerous industries, the costs and dangers of nuclear energy and its waste will be passed on to future generations long after any benefits have been exhausted.
- seems reasonable
