Only if Democrat's could govern as well as they can speak
i felt unqualified to start them though. my gf managed to get in for michelle's speech. she said it was amazing.
It's essentially everything that the Dems are trying to argue and not communicating, Clinton needs to visit some swing state's, he just smashed Romney and Ryan so simply
and Michelle was amazing as well, she attacked Romney so harshly without mentioning his name it was all class and just incredible
about him trusting a man that would marry michelle
^Not the first time I've used this, and almost certainly not the last.
how the american politicians (seen both obama and romney) refer to themselves as the greatest nation in the history of earth.
bit bigheaded really...
Ancient Egypt, Greece, Italy...
Rome- if you can count it as a nation.
then there's no hope for you.
Besides, the USA's socio-political outlook is hopelessly fucked. That's hardly an original thing to say but yeah no thanks.
it was weird seeing someone get applauded rapturously for saying stuff along the lines of "I don't like laywers as presidents, THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO WEIGH EVERYTHING UP AND LISTEN TO BOTH SIDES. What we need is a BUSINESSMAN."
I remember Sarah Brown did the same thing about Gordon a couple of years back. These are successful women in their own right, so why are they reverting to some 1950s doting housewife sterotype?
David Cameron was asked if he would ever be introduced by Sam Cam at conference. David said that Sam would probably tell him to fuck off (not his exact words), and quite rightly so.
She's more urban than all of DiS combined.
They do it because it gives the right-wing media one less stick to beat them with.
Er, no. The poor and impoverished first, you bunch of dicks.
Make it happen, Barack
Though I kinda get the feeling that they use 'middle class' in America to encompass everyone from the poorest up to those earning ~$250,000.
seems like an odd statement for a supposed liberal to make though.
but, for historical and cultural reasons, hardly anyone in America identifies as lower-class and the notion of working-class doesn't really exist over there either.
Everyone likes to assume that they're middle class and it's effectively a shorthand for saying that you don't think you're one of the 1%.
for wanting to cut taxes to millionaires while Obama wants to raise taxes (by 1%) for people earning over a million, they're trying to get the message across that they are pro-middle class and not just anti-upper class, it seems Americans off all classes take it personally when you raise taxes on anyone and they are trying to get as many people on side by using the term middle-class
